Quick stop for lunch. Crab balls were good but expensive. Potato soup was delicious, but could have been a little bit hotter. The two different slices of cake were exceptional. Lemon and tuxedo chocolate. We’ll be back when we travel that way again.

This was our first experience with soft shell crabs, and it didn’t disappoint. The server was great and filled us in on how to est them and what to put on them. We loved every bite!

Lunch was wonderful! Fresh seafood and service with a smile. As soon as you get off the Cambridge bridge, make a fairly quick right. Don’t pass it by! Small signage.

Passing through and stopped here for lunch. We ordered the crab pretzel (so good!), sangria, crab cakes with potato and macaroni salad, shrimp basket and a slice of lemon cake. Everything was delicious! The crab pretzel was my favorite and the crab cakes were also very good. I was torn when it came to dessert but not disappointed! The cakes and pies are baked fresh in house. The lemon cake is super moist, refreshing, and lemony. Perfect for summer.

The name of this restaurant is fancy, but the restaurant isn’t. The restaurant isn’t on the water. More like a diner with pretty pricey food. Six wings for almost $14. A plate of frozen french fries with some melted cheese and bacon bits $13. Three of us eating the above, along with two orders of fried chicken (two pieces in each meal) and a club sandwich, three soft drinks came to $99. The club was good. The fried chicken? Royal Farms sells better.

I was a little worried when we walked in because the atmosphere was not what I was expecting. It seemed like a basic diner which wasn’t exactly what we were looking for. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the food which was very well cooked and seasoned. We got the crab pretzel as an appetizer and I had the River View BLT and enjoyed both. My husband, who can be picky when it comes to burgers, really enjoyed his as well and commented on the quality of the meat.

Food took over an hour to come, didn’t taste good, and the staff were shockingly rude. Our waitress wasn’t that bad and was at least attentive with the drinks. When I arrived I was told that I’d need to wait for my full party to arrive before being seated, but when a police officer arrived he was seated immediately, despite his remaining party members showing up much later. The staff also wouldn’t allow us to sit in a seat we specifically reserved ahead of time over the phone (and it was marked as such, with 4 places set up) since our party was 4 people rather than 5 (apparently it’s a 5 person seat only). The seat wasn’t even that big, it’s a booth that can seat 5 at most, I attached a picture, I can’t understand why us 4 couldn’t sit there EVEN AFTER reserving the exact seat ahead of time and being told we could sit there. The seat was never used for the 2+ hours we were there talking over drinks while we waited for our bland food. Ruined my night out with my family, I would have had better food and service at the Denny’s down the road. Honestly, for the money we paid, it was disgraceful. We should have walked out when we were told we couldn’t sit at our reserved seat. I think it goes without saying that we won’t be back. If you’re looking for a nice bite try portside just down the road. It has a better view and better food.

Enjoyed the authentic Eastern Shore crabcake. The accompanying sweet tea and sweet potato fries rounded out a great lunch stop, while driving to the beach.

Great little place at the foot of the bridge. My wife had soft shells and I had the jumbo lump crabcake. I have to say my crabcake was just perfect. Almost all meat, a little bit of crispy browned edges on the top and bottom and fantastic fresh lump backfin. This is what I came to Eastern Shore to get!
