Great lunch on the deck overlooking the water. Much better than expected. All of us were pleased with what we ordered. My wife got the special – Gumbo I had the Mast (Grilled Chicken Sandwich). Our friends had the Rudder (Ruben) and St. John (Steak sandwich). The bill was quite reasonable given the quality and location. Also the sandwiches all came with home made chips that were excellent!

I am a local and I want our businesses to be successful, but this was absolutely the worst meal I have ever eaten in Colonial Beach. $50 for plain awful food. The slaw truly was not edible, clams and scallops from Mrs. Paul’s would be an upgrade. We didn’t complain, we did send the slaw back, and we treated the server fairly.Even the Coke my wife got was flat and the server admitted that others had said the same. He even apologized for the meals we got when we left. This place should be a goldmine, perfect location and great views. Why not spend the money and get a chef? This was our fourth and last time. We tried.

Great views of the local beach and the lake. The food is delicious and cheap as well. Service is pretty good but a little slow (at least the lady that we had) but she did a great job overall. Sit outside and you’ll love it. They do have a bar and lots of TVs inside (nothing like that outside). Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.

Went to watch a show, my friend joined in and was hypnotized. Funny as all to see these people. The dinner served, the spaghetti was ok, more like chilie on noodles. Staff very nice and right there when you needed them. Show was outstanding, definitely will be back.
