Had the french onion soup and Ruben sandwich. They make their own sauerkraut, it was delicious! Definitely much more than I expected out of a hotel restaurant. Their French onion soup was especially good. Highly recommended!

It had to be one the best kept secrets in downtown Bay City on the river. We stopped in for a quick appetizer and it was delicious. They have an amazing outside patio with plenty of seating, the staff was friendly and prompt.

Food was very good! We had the Steak Cobb Salad and the Reuben Sandwich with fries. Both were fantastic and we highly recommend. The French fries were so good it is worth mentioning. Highly recommend the food. The view of the Saginaw River from the outdoor patio was very nice. There is a park between the restaurant and the river which we took a really nice walk along the waterfront. Later we road on the Bay City Railtrail which we also highly recommend. Area is really nice.

Food was great (5 stars) but server very slow and inexperienced (1 star). She walks away when we are trying to order things and then makes us wait forever to finish what we were trying to order. Only 5 of the 14 available indoor tables being used and she’s intentionally avoiding the customers.

Had the buffet, but to tell you the truth only ate the cooked to order eggs. I like my scrambled eggs done lightly, and the cook in the kitchen prepared them perfectly.

Dined on the patio for an early dinner with 4 other ladies. Our server, Remmy, was sweet and efficient. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was served with pita bread and seasoned crisps. It was delicious!

I always come to the riverfront grille every single time I come to bay city. And Jeanna is the best restaurant manager. The restaurant has come a long way since she took over several years ago. I love the grilled chicken Mac and cheese. And always their mixed drinks. Will be back 🙂

Portobello wrap was good, drinks didn’t seem strong enough, and the service was average, but the unwanted seagull entertainment issue on the outside dining is ridiculous. And bring your own straw because they have paper straws.
