The food is fantastic. Got the smoked prime rib dip. Great flavor! I would definitely recommend it. Well worth getting off the interstate and spending a few minutes in town. The owner and the servers and all the employees were super friendly.

We were with our daughter, so we had to sit in the small room that is set aside for minors. Children are not allowed in the larger dining space. We were fine with that. Everyone working there was very friendly and kind. We arrived 20 minutes before closing, and they still took us in. We offered to take our food to-go so they could close on time, but they said it wasn’t a problem. Aside from ordering a salad, there weren’t many vegetarian options. The food was rich and cheesy/greasy. It tasted pretty good, though. Very filling.

Good food. I have no complaints about the food. The restaurant is in a newer building (looks like a church or something, supposedly a community center), but you had to walk down the hall to the tables. If you don’t know where to go, it’s concerning. And it’s nowhere near the river, so the name is misleading. Not a lot of staff or customers. Overall, if I’m in the area, I’d eat there again, but probably wouldn’t drive out of my way to go there.

Cute, clean little restaurant. My daughter and I ate lunch here. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious and home made. We shared an appetizer and the brisket plate which comes with 2 sides. Had enough to take leftovers home. Its a hidden gem. I’d go back when I’m traveling through. Thank you to our server Vicki S!

I love finding new places, particularly ones off the less traveled path, and this one is worth whatever drive you take to get here. Unbelievably great food. As good as my mom’s home cooked meals, and as awesome as backyard smoked gets. Just opening the car door in the parking lot had me salivating. The owner, David, came out and asked us how we enjoyed our food. Class act and I’m definitely stopping next time I pass through Arlington, which is about to become a lot more frequent! Keep up the phenomenal work! DDD needs to come see you.
