Food and service were great. After taking a nice long hike up the mountain attractions, it was great to be met by such delicious hot food on the way down. Played a round of pool but the food came out so fast we had to speed up the game. My group and I head almost one of everything they offered and everyone in the party said their food was exceptional. Definitely stop in if in the area.

The Indian curry tater tots were so good. Those were the best tater tots (made in-house and roughly the size of a hush puppy!) I’ve ever had. The samosas and the sausage rolls were also delicious. Such a pleasant surprise this place was!

I was skeptical of going here for dinner, only because I’m a weird eater. I don’t eat meat and I feel like you gotta love a greasy burger to really enjoy the bar food experience. I was wrong. They were out of everything (except for fish and chips) because it was a Sunday evening and they don’t overbuy food since they are closed Monday and Tuesday. I love this and so appreciate they run out and limit options instead of overbuy and end up having to throw away food. So, the burger loving, meat eaters in the group, and I, all got fish and chips. Insert drool-all-over-myself emoji here. It was soooo good. Side of coleslaw, also delicious. I am a fish fry snob (from northern WI and I feel like we might be fish fry kings of the world?) and I will definitely be back for more. Great service. Seemed to have a regulars sort of vibe (which is always fun) but welcomed us weirdo outsiders. Go here if you’re in the area.

What a find! Inside of the gas station, this hidden rustic/spartan gem of an eatery known mostly to locals. A very limited menu of totally wonderful food. Curry? You got it! One of the best cheeseburgers in the region for $3. Super friendly servers (April!) and owner (Shilla) is always at your service. Pool tables and lotto at your table if you feel lucky. Many times, beers are only $1. If you are caught up the craft beer thing, they have plenty. Excellent parking.

The curry is the real deal; authentic British-Indian (maybe a little less spicy for us yanks). Another guest had Bangers and Mash and said the sausage was really good. Staff was really nice and attentive even though there is no table service.

This place is a hidden gem!!! So glad we stumbled upon it!!! All the food is super fresh, made from scratch it tastes like. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely come back!!!! Only thing we were a bit disappointed with is it took the waitress about 30 minutes to check us out after we were finished eating, and it wasn’t even that busy. She just kept putting drink orders ahead of checking us out.
