We just arrived to the island and had lunch here. Our server was awesome. He was very friendly and gave us a “must do” list while we are on whidbey Island (unfortunately I don’t remember his name!) . The food was good, good enough to make us want to go back another day to try other items. Only downside was we had to ask for the special discount that was advertised.

Riverside Cafe – small and cozy with a friendly service. First time in this restaurant and boy the breakfast was outstanding. Not to pricey for a home cook style meal. Highly recommend to check it out.

I had lunch here by chance after hiking Deception Pass. I stopped in Oak Harbor to see the murals then decided to grab lunch. I was craving fish and chips. It was delicious! I recommend trying the Lavender Lemonade Mimosa if it’s still available. Great service, friendly staff.

Had a great take out experience. My husband and I ordered over the phone. I had the #06 Meat Lovers breakfast with tater tots and french toast (at 2:00pm) and my husband had the Super Bacon Cheeseburger (1/2lb) with home cut fries. Look at all these tots and fries – perfectly cooked! Not pictured: four slices of French toast. They even give you compostable cutlery!

Expensive for what you get. Small sized portions and the syrup is the grossest cheapest crud I’ve ever tasted! Honestly food was just meh but what really got me was how absolutely horrible the atmosphere was. Lighting, decor, lack of music… the worst part was that the dining room was so cold we sat shivering with coats on the entire time and spent the same for breakfast items as we would have at Applebee’s! It was terrible. Don’t go here. If you do, bring your own syrup and a thick blanket to ward off the cold!

This place was so yummy and had a really nice laid back atmosphere. The waiter was super wonderful and was really nice and inviting, even though we got there 40 minutes before closing (we didn’t know they closed at 4 on Sundays!) Definitely recommend! The whole experience was lovely.
