Riverside Pizza & Pub is a family owned and operated neighborhood pizzeria, restaurant and bar originally established in St. Charles, Illinois in 2014. The vision was to create a scratch kitchen with unique spins on classic dishes, complemented by craft beer, cocktails, and a robust wine selection – a modern spin on a classic pizzeria.
A few friends joined the team and opened the South Elgin location in 2016, followed by Batavia in 2019 and Oswego in 2021. The concepts follow the same principles of creating a warm and inviting experience built on approachable, tasty food and beverages that people can come back to time and time again.

Service was okay and server was nice but she was extremely slow due to being short staffed. Pizza was pretty basic Chicago thin crust. Crust didn’t do it for me, it tasted too much like saltine crackers; and I prefer tangy and sweet sauce. Wings were decent. I might go back.

UPDATED: Dined in on a Tuesday afternoon. Still a busy place, but service from Sara was friendly and efficient. Southwest Salad was even larger than I remembered from carry-out and still delicious.

We love coming here on 50 percent off pasta and wine nights!!! The tortellini with red meat sauce is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Sage, our server, is so good at what he does … Always makes it an enjoyable experience dining there for both of us.

Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Chicken wings were made early in the day and deep fried before they were served, to heat them up. Lazy cooking, that. I’ve cooked in, and run restaurants. I tried the second wing to make sure I was right about the first wing. I was. Sent them all back. We’ll stick to the Riverside Pizza & Pub in Batavia.

Food – very good and generous portions. The service at this time was not good. We were seated quickly but no one came to our table for over 5 minutes, then the server threw the napkins at us. The rest of the service was fair but we didn’t feel like they were paying much attention to us as an example, they never offered us drink refills even though mine was bellow 2 inches.

We were in town visiting some family and they ordered from Riverside. I was able to enjoy a gluten free pizza and it was quite good! Everyone seemed to like their pizza as well. The gluten free thin crust was crunchy and flavorful.

The staff here are incredibly friendly and the pizza is great. We had a bit of a wait for a table on a busy Saturday night and the hostess kept us very current on our status, being super proactive. Our waiter was also super friendly and accommodating. All the sports are on their many TVs. I’ve been here a couple times and will be back for sure.

This place has the best wings in town, I never ever go anywhere else to get my wings they’re always tender they’re always HOT the taste is always excellent! I never get a bad batch of wings from here I been coming here for almost a year now and won’t ever stop coming for my batch of Buffalo wings boyfriend and I can also vouch for their PIZZA ❤️ and Mac and cheese bites they’re delicious!
