Perfect place for a family dinner or lunch! Great food, great service. We are here twice in three days and I would do it again. The kids enjoyed their items off the kids menu. My wife raved about the rainbow trout. The pork barbecue was great as a platter or sandwich.

Went here when it first opened and wasn’t impressed with food or service. Was told that they had changed their menu so the wife and I decided to try it. YES, their menu has changed for the better!!! Staff is on the ball also. We always sit outside overlooking the river. Great place to go for lunch etc., and to relax. They have IMPROVED immensely since our 1st visit in the beginning. Wife and I always stop by now when we’re in the area. Go there, ya won’t be disappointed. We will go back.

Good place! We had Cheese Fries as an appetizer and this was very good. I had a BBQ Pulled pork sandwich and it was ok because the pork was a little bit dry. And the Riverside Peach Slaw was amazing! The staff were very nice!

It’s hard to expect much from a restaurant that’s the only option to eat for nearly 7 miles in any direction. 2 kids meal, tenders and grilled cheese – okay. My wife had a salad – it was okay.

My boyfriend and I stopped by on our way home from the mountains for a bite to eat. We found amazing service, friendly faces, and delicious pulled pork and drinks! I highly recommend Riverside Tavern to anyone in the area. Sam provided us excellent service and hospitality. Thanks again!!!

Wonderful view while enjoying dinner. We started with the crispy avocado and so so good! The Buffalo shrimp was also good. Then for our meals… we had the Firecracker burger with peach slaw, the fish and chips and the trio grilled cheese with bacon and pork and Brunswick stew., everything was delicious. Our waitress was Silvia and she was spot on, even made us fresh coffee. I’m told the chef was Fig and he did an amazing job on our food. We listened to live music while we ate as well. A trip well worth making again!
