Came here with friends for $1 Oyster Thursdays. The Bartender was very nice but definitely overwhelmed. He let us taste several different white wines which honestly were horrible. We ended up opting for martinis. Our Oysters took at least an hour to get to us. We were starving and had to ask for bread in the interim which never came so we asked again. The blue point oysters were delicious once they finally arrived so 5 stars for the food at least.

Happy that I finally got to try the food here! Appetizers were amazing, especially the wings! I ordered the pulled chicken special and it was delicious. We sat outside on a beautiful Saturday night. Our waitress was so nice. Cannot wait to come back!

Stopped in town for a quick bite. The food was very good. Burger with mushrooms and avocado . My bf had burger with cheese and onions. Both meals were delicious . We also had sesame Thai chicken wings. Very tasty. Definitely worth another visit.

Omg…the food at the Rivertown Taphouse was soooo delicious I can not wait until next weekend, we are taking a few friends of ours there. Hope they’ll live it as much as me and my fiance did….which I’m 100% sure they will. And our waiter was excellent, he was on point with everything

Great location with excellent and friendly service. Sandwiches all looked great. Cocktail menu looked unusually good, too. Tons of outdoor seating with the street blocked off. My salad (tricolor cabbage with carrots, peanuts and seasame vinaigrette) was a tad underwhelming and could’ve used a few more ingredients, otherwise still good.

Second time here in last 2 years. They have reduced the menu since my last visit. Got the horseradish prime rib sandwich and asked for salad instead of fries. They upcharge I think 3.99 for salad which was only a small handful of greens and ginger dressing didn’t taste at all like ginger. Sandwich was on a sub roll instead of ciabatta and was only OK. Not much horseradish taste. Ate half. Outdoor seating is nice, they have big umbrellas they move around to give you shade which is nice. $15 lemon drop martini was just OK. Not sure I am going to rush back here but it’s not terrible and it’s near the water.

The atmosphere is spacious and comfortable. We ordered little necks and fried calamari to start . The flavor was delicious and the food was fresh. As entries we ordered , Montreal NY Strip Steak, and Lobster Pockets in a penne vodka sauce. All of our dishes were flavorful and the steak perfectly cooked and a good cut of meat. The only flaw was that we wished we had a few extra lobster pockets as the portions didn’t warrant the price and felt more like a tapas. Maybe a lil bread to scoop up the delicious vodka sauce. I highly recommend the pomegranate cosmo as a refreshing drink.

Terrible service. I was waited for 35 minutes for a burger and a salad after asking for my food. I got it cold in altogether I asked for a salad with no cheese, and unfortunately as well got it with cheese, just forgot about my order altogether, they just forgot about my order altogether.

I had always heard good things about the Rivertown Taphouse but never got around to actually going. Today was the day I tried it. It was so good. From the appetizers to dinner, everything was flavorful and fresh. I would definitely go back again.
