Mango Habanero Ceviche was excellent with just the right amount of spice! The Ceviche was loaded with fresh shrimp. Enchiladas Platter was very good. Very clean inside great atmosphere.

Wonderful, wonderful place! The food is very authentic and well priced, especially their lunch combos. I always get lunch (I work in Baldwin and live out of town), and the portions are always about the same as dinner at any other place. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I think Baldwin will be down to 1 Mexican restaurant again soon. My husband already wouldn’t go here because he got food poisoning from being served bad steak, he tried to tell them, they ignored him. I still liked the place and loved their nachos, I thought it was a great value. So I took the kids again, we got some nachos it was a tiny plate, they used to be at least 3 times that size. We also ordered dessert, got about half as much as last time. We were the only ones there and the service was still poor. I was really disappointed and I doubt we will be back. Out of everyone that I know I was the last one that hadn’t given up hope on Riviera Maya, and now I have. 🙁 I know other people that have gotten sick after eating there or were served still frozen food they didn’t even eat. Sad day.

Delicious! We ate inside. It’s a very clean and open space with large windows for natural light. A lot of menu options. Friendly staff. There is free chips and salsa. We also ordered guacamole, veggie enchiladas, and veggie quesadilla. Both dishes came with sides of rice, black beans, and lettuce. All was good and tasty! Will visit again.

I live in Ottawa and i like the food at El Mezcal, but their service is absolutely terrible. Luckily the food here is better and the service here is MUCH better. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive and will be my new go to place for Mexican food.
