As tourist, we search for good places to eat according to reviews and location. This family place looks decent and the food was good, not so much for the service. The host person was very courteous but once we were seated; everything went downhills; we were sat at the table for at least 30 long minutes before the food was brought. We even ask the waitresses how much longer Ave she said literally that it was going to be long but how come the table next to us got their order way faster than us when they were sat like 15 min AFTER us????

Aug 2023 update: Have now been back at least once a month and each time has been excellent. Great service from either Gigi or Autumn. Food has been consistently great. It’s really back now from Covid and that’s great because it’s an Italian favorite.

Leveled Up Tree & Crane Service
This is definitely some of the best Italian food in Peoria, but the food is not the reason I gave this place five stars. I came in 30 minutes before close after getting off work late and the bartender greeted me for food and drinks. The bartender made my dinner enjoyable and made me feel like I’ve been coming there regularly for years! From a fellow business owner, 10/10 service!

Just wanted a nice night out with my husband and after 45 minutes of waiting at the table we had to ask for someone to take our order. We waited two hours to get our dinner. My meal was spicy, which was not listed on the menu. The appetizers were not good and the service was terrible. We even had to ask for our bill when we were done eating so we could get out of there. There was no explanation or apology for why things were so slow. We won’t be going back.

Very small but cozy restaurant. Placed a to go order on a Saturday before Christmas. It was so busy that food took forever to come out, but they take special care to make anything fried when you arrive to pick up so that it’s not as soggy when you finally eat it.

My brother and I brought our mom here for her birthday and a new experience to try REAL Italian food instead of fake Italian like avantis here in Peoria. This has been hands down the absolute best restaurant I’ve been to since before the pandemic!!! The food is absolutely out of this world and the prices are very fair for how amazing the food is and the service is very friendly. Even the owner came out and greeted several guests. Over all if anyone wants Italian food in Central Illinois they need to try Rizzis!!!
