If you want good Barbecue you have found your place. The portions are big and so so good. I had the ribs and brisket and it’s the best I’ve ever had. My mouth is watering thinking about it. Everyone was so nice there. This is a must stop!

Our first time visiting, best bbq in Angelo! Such good flavor and great customer service. Wish the ribs & brisket were warmer, they were a little cold but still so good. Will definitely be back!

No complaints here. I got the 2 meat plate, got the brisket and jalapeño sausage with beans and fries. If I ever visit San Angelo again I would definitely try this place again!

This place is pretty good. The brisket was good, but the pork ribs were freakin delicious! Plates come standard with potato salad and beans, but I appreciated that they allowed substitution. Instead of potatoes I got fried okra and beans. Beans flavored well for a barbecue plate. The place is no frills and the staff helpful, cordial and friendly. Prices seem comparable to other BBQ joints, but as a quote says inside, “Good BBQ ain’t cheap, and cheap BBQ ain’t good.” I recommend trying it. I also recommend indulging in the cherry cobbler if you aren’t too full. I took mine to-go and ate it later. Yum!

The absolute best bbq place in town. They made our catering for our gender reveal so quick and painless, and yes the food was amazing too. The owner took so much interest in our gender reveal, made us feel right at home. I definitely would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking to dine or cater an event.

One of the major bbq players in this town and I see why. Dang good BBQ across the board of their simple basic menu of goods. Everything we had was amazing. Service was fast just before the normal 6pm dinner rush started coming in and it came strong! We got lucky coming in at 5. Beat the masses. The chicken impressed me most with it’s super smokey but moist outcome. The brisket was a close 2nd place being flavorful and tender. Ribs we’re not be overlooked either. Not a big sausage guy so those just never impress me much anywhere.

Was in town visiting my brother. He took me here for lunch. I don’t eat meat so I got the fish plate that I was told came with 1 side so I got potato salad. We made it home to eat and the portions were huge and included fries and hush puppies. I would’ve gotten a different side had I known it came with fries. The potato salad was basic but edible. The fish was fried well, the hush puppies and fries were seasoned well. My brother enjoyed his BBQ as well and we both had enough leftover to eat for dinner.

Brisket was tender but lacked any standalone flavor. The smoke was very much heavy but could taste the white creosote smoke. Ribs should have been cooked longer and the beans were crunchy. Need to be cooked longer or do not add salt while they are cooking. Potato salad tasted like what you get from store. Even the bread was a bit dry. Now this was my first visit and I always give a place 2x. (To the owner) don’t be afraid to add more pop into your rub and apply heavily..all meats should stand on their own with no sauce.

Delicious! I’m very glad to finally find a local BBQ place that’s amazing and not a random chain. The brisket was tender, the ribs and sausage were smoked to perfection. Everything comes with a side of bread, beans, and potato salad. Wish we’d had to for cobbler. Next time I’ll start with that. If you want to see the menu, click the photo with the boards and clock on the wall.
