We tried this restaurant for the first time since we moved locally and wished we came sooner! My husband and I got a platter to share which came with wings, ribs, pulled pork and brisket (I think?). My favorite was the ribs and I enjoyed the smoked wings. It was falling of the bone tender and not too sweet. The pulled pork was tasty but a bit dry. We had sides cole slaw and Mac n cheese, and bread as well. We had enough for lunch the next day. Service was quick and friendly, the restaurant was not too busy but they did have a stream of customers. The restaurant had a lot of seating and it was very clean and easy street parking. We are definitely coming back!

We were driving through and I happened to find this local stop and so glad we did. I have recommended to everyone I know who could pass through. I usually don’t love ribs and theirs were the best! Everything we got on the sampler was fantastic and plenty for two to eat and have plenty of leftovers. Well done!!

So happy that I was traveling through the Dillsburg area on a Thursday so I could go to Road Hawg! Excellent smoked meats at an affordable price with several side options and also many sauces to choose from. Also situated in a cute downtown setting! I recommend their brisket, great smoke ring and thickly cut. Picture shows the menu current as of June 2023.

If you enjoy barbecue you can’t go wrong by stopping in here. Pricing is reasonable. Decor Feels Like Home. The food is scrumptious. The brisket was moist very flavorful and melt in your mouth. Just the right amount of smoke char. Baked beans and mac and cheese are homemade. Mac and cheese very creamy and cheesy. Barbecue sauce not overly sweet or a heavy smoke just the right flavor and mix. Baked beans had a nice mixture of beans with the barbecue sauce and meat. Could make a meal out of that. Dry rubbed Wings awesome flavor. The ribs were fall off the bone delicious. Highly recommend to stop in and try it. Can eat in or carry out. Definitely two thumbs up. My belly was very satisfied.

I cannot speak to the taste of the food. It may very well be wonderful. We did not eat anything. The ribs were burnt and since the young man was snarky and said he can’t do that when I asked to just take off the ribs, I returned the entire platter. The manager came who was very nice and voided the meal and we left without trying anything.
