We stopped here for a Valentines Day Special of Prime Rib, Crab Legs or Chicken and all were amazingly delicious! We got in immediately without a reservation and they allowed me to order a ‘special’ meal to tale home to my husband. We never mind the drive coming from Northome! Highly recommend you stop in for a bite to eat and a beer! Yum!

Stopped by road runner after a full day on red lake ice fishing. Broasted chicken dinner is AMAZING. Crispy fell of the bone, very moist and not greasy! Service was great the waitress checked in on us quite a bit was super polite and good table side manor! Definitely recommend this place to those looking for something to eat after coming off the ice! Kept very clean and cooks were quick!

This place is exceptional- Top quality food in the north woods. Best broasted chicken I have ever had, and I made sure to tell them that. Family operated, they made my mom and I feel at home in a real, unscripted way. The broasted chicken I think is only on weekends, it’s memorable. Too bad I have to drive 650 miles back here to get it. Keep up the good work!

The restaurant had the most amazing food when they first opened. Now with their new female cook it is gross. You can’t taste anything but salt. I would call first to see who is cooking before going. Don’t send your food back she will get mad and spit in your food.
