I had high hopes for this place, but was let down. I know they just opened and I hope they can improve. We walked in and the atmosphere is just a bit odd. It’s a black room that’s very loud and echoey. We ordered the Brisket Nachos about 20 minutes before our food and it still came out with the rest of our food, which defeats the purpose of an appetizer. The nachos looked good but the chips (more like whole grain crackers) were just a little weird. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and my son ordered a kids cheeseburger, when they brought them out we couldn’t tell which was which because they were both the same size and neither had bacon. The meat wasn’t seasoned and I could have made a better burger at home. It took forever for the food to come out our waitress came to our table 4 times to tell us sorry about the wait and that they just got out of a rush … There was nobody else in the restaurant until after we got our food. A family came in after we got our food and a lady abruptly ran from her chair gagging like she was about to puke and we instantly weren’t hungry anymore and started to get paranoid. We picked up a bottle of Pepto on the way home for just in case.

Great little bar and grill. Wife and I were motorcycling from Cave Spring, GA to Talladega National Forest and stopped here on the way back. Very friendly and attentive staff. The ice cold tea really hit the spot on a hot and humid trip! The BBQ pork nachos we shared really filled us up. If we weren’t 500 miles away we would stop in more often.

Had lunch today with a coworker and our bosses brother and father. Loved the environment and knew soon as I walked in I had to try the BBQ. I got the BBQ plate with coleslaw and potato salad. All of it was delicious but I really enjoyed the potato salad. My guess is it’s a sour cream base over the traditional mayonnaise. I loved that it was homemade. Too many places skip that and if they even offer it, it’s from a tub. And I can’t stand premade potato salad. The bacon in there was a great touch. Only thing I was personally missing for me to call it perfect was some onion. But I ain’t hating. The slaw was also very good. Not a vinegar slaw. Comparable to jacks. The cabbage was fresh you could tell it was made that morning. Overall the food was a five out of five. Greatly enjoyed the time and conversation we were able to share here. Will definitely be stopping in anytime we work in that area. The waitress didn’t catch her name but she was a pretty blonde. She was a very sweet girl and did a wonderful job taking care of all of us.

Best food my husband and I have had in years! Yes the room echos and if it is loud, just move to a corner table. THE FOOD IS EXTREMELY TASTY! The prices are good and the daily special price is great. Pulled pork was so easy to eat after going to dentist. lol I loved the baked potato and got a bite of potato salad from hubby. Good! Fried chicken excellent, seasoned and fried properly. Thanks. We loved the.smoked ribs and the waitress! We will be back from GA to Piedmont.Clean! Barbecue sauce was tasty, little different too. People at tables and bar.

Ate there today! It’s exactly what a family owned and run restaurant should be. Friendly greetings. Fresh, hot, tasty food served quickly. Wife got the pulled pork salad and I had the Catfish Po Boy with fries. Excellent service and the owner dropped by to chat about the food. They really care and it shows!
