The food was amazing! I ordered the honey butter and my husband ordered the club. It came with 2 pieces of chicken on both sandwiches. The chicken was very tender and juicy. I chose mild heat and it was just the right amount of spice and flavor. I wish we had a location in North Carolina.

Very clean location and has good staff. My only complaint is the spice level, compared to other roaming rooster locations, the extra hot sandwich here was very mild for me. The other locations like the original Bladensburg location have extra hot, and their extra hot means business.

Awesome chicken sandwich! It was fresh and great tasting! They stack 2 breast’s and you choose the spicy level. I picked medium but would go mild next time. One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had! Highly recommended this place.

My wife really liked the food and I thought it was pretty good but not the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Service was very good. The only two things I can see that they could improve upon is wiping down the chairs as some of them were sticky from being dirty and I think the price point was slightly high.

Randomly wanted to try this for lunch, but it might be worth of a return visit when we’re in the area. Chicken was well-cooked and juicy. Great heat levels. I’m particular about anything claiming to be “Nashville Hot chicken” and this was an ok attempt (not quite right, but tasty enough I would have it again).

Wanted to love this place, but I sabotaged myself. Ordered the hot, and man, it was hot. Absolutely not the restaurants fault. Everything was fresh, fries were crispy, hot, and enough for four people. Sandwich was piping hot, and assembled well, just… Wow…. Hot. I’m gonna go see them when I get time and tone it down a notch.

First time trying Roaming Rooster after sister recommended it, and definitely loved it. I got the OG Nashville with mild spice flavorwith cole slaw and pickles and the rooster sauce on the side. Chik fil a was my fav chicken sandwich before and I’d say this is a 5 if chick fil a is a 4. Definitely super filling too though, no need for any sides with this sandwich. Had three pieces of chicken in my sandwich and the coleslaw and pickles were a great combo with and and especially the sauce. I’d recommend ordering ahead for pickup as the place isn’t that big for sitting down. Will definitely get again.
