When I walked in, it was a little confusing because people were waiting for their food at the register so it looked like folks were in line. When I asked, they said they were waiting so I went to the register to order and was ignored. I was not greeted or acknowledged. I continued to wait for awhile. Finally an employee said ahuh what do you want to order.

I always visit this place at least once when I’m in town, and the food is always great. I usually get a sandwich, but this time opted for tenders and fries and was not disappointed. The menu is limited, they focus on what they know, and therefore really shine at it. It’s in the Rose and Pike shopping district, so you’ll have to park and walk a bit, but maybe you’ll find other places you need to visit. You know, pick up some clothes, camping gear, or a luxury sports car …

Wanted to love it.. at first bite, flavor & heat was pretty good. I thought the chicken was a little thin, but figured it was just the outer edge of the chicken. Nope. 2 small very thin pieces of chicken. See pictures. It never got any thicker than that. Pancakes are thicker. Do not waste your time & $. On the bright side, the fries were great, but not worth $14 (for the nothing sandwich + fries).

This place is awesome. Only one size for fries but it may as well be extra large fries. The chicken is very flavorful. Be aware that their spice level is quite strong. I got a medium and was able to feel the heat. Friendly staff and great food. I ate at this place three times in few days

Just stopped in tonight to try their frozen custard and was definitely disappointed. What is described as frozen custard tasted more like frozen ice milk.Tried the vanilla and chocolate mixed and honestly would have been better going to Macdonalds for their frozen desert. Definitely nothing like the frozen custard I am used to. The chocolate especially tasted very thin and was loaded with ice crystals. Kind of a watery syrupy mess. It was a big serving for less than $5 but I wound up throwing most of it away.

I used to be a huge fan of Roaming Rooster when I worked near McPherson Square in DC! When their truck would come by everyone in the office would get it. I’m so glad to see they have a brick and mortar store now. I got the OG Nashville with the rooster sauce on the side which is basically a Sriracha mayo. The coleslaw is uniquely tangy and not overly mayo-y, really fresh and crunchy. The chicken is breaded so nicely and they give you two thinner layers of chicken so you don’t get a super thick bite of chicken breast like some other chicken sandwiches. The fries are salty, hot and crispy. The seasoning on the chicken is so good, savory and flavorful. It ended up being $25 for 2 sandwiches and fries which in today’s market is a steal! The space is no frills but clean and the customer service was great.

OG Nashville Chicken sandwich is really good. Ordered extra hot, it was nicely spicy, but by no means a test of will. Chicken was juicy and tasty. Good portion of fries, very sharable. The chicken nuggets were also quite good.
