Spent $17 on a honey butter chicken sandwich and chocolate shake. Was worth maybe $10. I got the lowest heat, which was mild and it was spicier than I would have liked. All I tasted was the spice. Personally, I think the Popeyes chicken sandwich is way better. This sandwich was 2 flat chicken breasts smothered with honeybutter that did not add to the flavor since the spicy batter overpowers that. There’s also a slice of cheese on it. The chocolate shake is mid. Maybe a single step up from a McDonald’s shake, but 5 guys, chick filet, and shake shack are all better. Overall, not worth the price. Don’t recommend. I won’t be returning. The servers were nice, but it took a while to get my order. I assume that means it’s made fresh.

if your looking for hot chicken that’s beyond fastfood this IS the place. With the ability to choose your spice level it’s great. first visit I had the og Nashville hot and was perfect. the sandwich had 2 big pieces of chicken with coleslaw . the fries are also freshly cut ones similar to 5 guys.

If half star reviews were a thing then I would give this two and a half, but that’s not the case so I’m going to lean towards the lower amount.

My first time trying Roaming Rooster and it was great! Burger King used to be at this location, and I was excited that a newer food option was now at Burke.

Got an $11 fast food chicken sandwich which was pretty tasty and a $5 side of cole slaw which was not && it’s one of those checkouts that prompt for a tip upon payment.

I saw a few reviews and wanted to try this place. Was I surprised… the order was taken only to find out is was messed up. Re-ordered and that took forever. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich… it was creamy and bun was soggy.. how can someone say that there sandwich was the best if you are having a soggy sandwich? I would certainly not recommend for food and customer service.

Food is good HOWEVER, I’ve been to the Manassas (which closed down) and Burke locations multiple times and it is very hot inside both locations to the point where I’ve been sweating every time I go into eat inside the restaurant. I can only imagine what the workers go through in the back while cooking the food with the additional heat (not vey humane working conditions for the workers and not safe for being inside that type of heat for long shifts).

This place is a great spot whenever I get a chicken sandwich craving. Always consistent with my order. Lots of seating, but sometimes gotta clean the table. Overall my favorite chicken spot.

I asked for ketchup and honey mustard and the employee rolled their eyes at me. When the meal came, I only received honey mustard. I would’ve been willing to pay for the ketchup if that was the issue, but instead it was left out of my order. Unprofessional.
