Got the shredded beef nachos with the chips on the side and had little hair like strands of meat. Mostly onions. Pretty much had a plate full on sauce and beans never again.

While in Vegas, driving around, we ran into Roberto’s Taco shop. I ordered chicken rolled tacos while the wife ordered a single traditional chicken taco. Both of our meals arrived hot. The rolled tacos were pretty basic and lacked much flavor, but at least were crispy. The shredded cheese they topped the rolled tacos with wasn’t melted. The best part of my meal was the salsa, I liked both the red/roja and green/verde.

Super disappointed I got a taco at the drive thru and I got home and open the taco the shell was broken and the inside of the taco had one gob of chicken that was really hard. I should’ve checked my food before driving off. Shaking my head I could have choke and gotten really sick because I feel like the taco had been sitting for hours. I will report this to the health district if someone doesn’t reach out to me about a refund or better service.

This is the location that was deemed as ” The first Roberto’s in Las Vegas,” but it’s actually not. The first Roberto’s in Las Vegas was at Maryland Parkway and Harmon behind a 7-eleven and it was demolished in the name of progress!! The decision was made to build a new one at the north end of Maryland Parkway in the historical district of Huntridge Park and it was one of the best moves in a very long time. This location has stuck to the values and standards of Roberto’s when most others have slipped off the edge and let everything fall into that long list of places ‘ NOT TO GO!’ I’ve seen the reviews of most Roberto’s ( including this location ), and people have that right to say whatever they want to, but the ones that complain about the dumbest thing is more than likely Unhappy about the price or just mad at the world. If a mistake was made then take it back and have the establishment redo your meal! We went in and ordered two (2) number 21’s and were not disappointed , the mountain of cheese and beans were in perfect proportion and the red sauce was spot on. Coming from San Diego, we look for food that is familiar with what we’ve been around our whole life and if it’s not the same, then we won’t go back, we’ll let you know and just look for another place to get that comfort food. This is that comfort food place to bring back memories of home.

Food is good. Employees have over charged us twice. Tonight employee took it up on herself to round price up. Costing an extra $5.00. a few months back, employee took order at drive through. We paid cash, then left us standing there. The order was never put in and the employee was long gone with our money.

Around 8am on a Sunday. Place was clean. No other customers. Had their chicken burrito with rice, beans and a drink special. Was good. Ate some there took the rest home. Server was friendly.

I give this place five stars on everything because it’s the best place I have found in Vegas for quick tasty affordable Mexican food within a reasonable distance from the strip. They also make excellent salsas. The only negative thing I have to say is that the last time I went there I felt sick that evening, but I can’t attribute it necessary to this place so keep that in mind. That is, maybe 1/20 burritos that weren’t great.

I want to be honest but fair at the same time. There’s no excuse for bad tacos in the late night. They have excellent real estate location and the advantage of being a legitimate late night taco spot. The tacos need to be served hot and fresh not cold and pricey. THE SALSA MAKES OR BREAKS A TACO. These salsas were not flavorful and the meat tasted reheated. Other than that it’s a really nice and clean environment and their horchatas and tamarindo waters were good.
