It was an interesting way of doing a food service. You order at the counter and then go sit with a number and they bring the food to you. The one thing I will caution is that if you want to leave a tip on the card there will be a waitress or two that come and take care of your table, but you tip before you know that.

Great breakfast place. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You order at the counter and seat yourself. There is more seating in the back and also a giant patio area that is dog friendly. It was too cold when we went to so it was closed. Portions of food are pretty big.

Staff was very friendly and the service fast. Food was delicious. I had the Corn Beef Benny (Biscuits- sub English Muffin, Shredded Corned Beef, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise, Hash Browns). Unfortunately, I was not able to finish the large portion size and hollandaise doesn’t travel well. Will definitely return next time I’m in the area.

Robin’s was our reception venue for our wedding in July 2022 and they were truly amazing!! Caroline (the owner) was so helpful and kind during the whole process and was so easy to work with! My wife and I live in Salt Lake City so we were doing most of the planning remote, which can be really hard, but Caroline was so great to work with! We did visit Salida in December 2021 to check out a few options for venues and Robin’s was clearly the winner! They were a breakfast and lunch only place, so having a dinner reception there meant we had the whole place to ourselves. The patio (where we set up the tables) is right along a creek so it’s very beautiful and private! The rental price was extremely affordable ($250 for the venue) + $100 for staff. Caroline sent us some menu examples to get us thinking and from there we were able to customize what we wanted. We also wanted to have a few signature cocktails so Caroline came up with a few that matched our wedding colors and because we were not local, we asked if she could send us the recipes for them so we could make them and try them. She did and we were able to test them and choose our favorites! She also connected us with a local baker, Quincey from QTCakesbyQuincey who was able to make a small wedding cake for us (we had a very small wedding with ~25 at the reception) and vegan and gluten free mini cupcakes for guests with dietary restrictions. Both the cake and cupcakes were exquisitely decorated and so delicious! The day of the reception, she let us come in early right after the restaurant closed to set up and test decorations for the table. Our wedding ceremony was supposed to be up at Lost Lake (a trail about an hour away) but it started raining in the middle of the ceremony and didn’t stop so we had to bail on it. We asked Caroline very last minute if we could have our ceremony there at the beginning of the reception and she was totally fine with it! She even offered an A-frame arch (pictured below) that she had in storage for us to use! The reception food was all made by her and her team and it was truly amazing! Nothing like the bad wedding food that is so common! If you are planning a wedding and looking for an amazing, affordable venue, look no further! I can’t recommend them enough!

Awesome little place. We went with our dog and the location is beautiful and very welcoming. The method of service is extremely fast and more efficient than a regular restaurant. The staff are also very friendly. We both thought the food was delicious as well. When the weather is nice the patio seating is a must. On the day we went, it was probably over 90° but we never felt too hot sitting outside as the patio is well shaded, even for our dog.

First time visit as we were passing through town. I’m so happy we stopped in! What a lovely place! The Bloody Mary has the right amount of spice. Now I’ve lived in Colorado for over a year now, and it’s almost impossible to find a real, hand battered Chicken Fried Steak. Robin’s makes REAL CFS! I was ecstatic when I had the first bite! Exactly what I’ve been craving. The biscuits and gravy are spectacular as well. I honestly think it’s worth the drive from COS to eat there. Thank you for a great experience.

Best breakfast spot in town. Food is consistently great as is the service. They are very attentive. And eating on the patio while watching the river flow by is tough to beat. Yes, you do tip as you’re ordering (I’m sure you can leave cash as well if preferred) but everything is so consistently great, you can pre-tip with confidence.

Sure would be nice if you got the order correct when paying $19.19 for a fried chicken sandwich. Got back to work to find a rubbery grilled chicken sandwich instead. Also charging a to go fee is bogus. Then also a non cash fee too. Just add a $1.50 to all the already overpriced food items on the menu.
