Don’t know what happened to the place, use to be good!!!! Spent over $30 for 15 greasy shrimp, coagulated salty Mac n cheese. Also some piss poor spaghetti.. didn’t even have that good cocktail sauce they use to have. won’t be back!!!!!!

Horrible experience. They didn’t have no chicken wing dings. They wouldn’t accommodate neither. So i gotta burger n fry. It was cold after waiting damn near a hour for the food. Smdh. Food wasn’t even good. Smh all she could do was apologize. But never again. Food not good and high as hell for no reason.

I was in town for work from Houston and needed a spot to go to. This reminded me of home. 1st, not a lot of places serve perch. I got 2 3pc fish dinners, 1 with catfish and 1 with perch. Both types of fish were delicious and perfectly fried. The mac and cheese, greens and hush puppies were just as good as the fish. The fried okra was good, but wasnt to my liking. Next time I’m in flint, this will be my go to spot. Hours are from 11am to 1pm, items increase in price by $1 after 1pm

Pretty good food overall pretty consistent only issue is the salt sometimes it’s better not kill off your customers but keep up the good work. Ate here again 10/15/2021 So Salty I couldn’t eat it today I’m taken off 2 stars because this is becoming a trend Also my macaroni was cold Sweet potatoes were warm I I waited almost 30 min for my order and it wasn’t Crowded I only order fish ,Mac and cheese, green beans ,and sweet potatoes 30 min for cold food No one answers the phone And the place looks dirty The building itself looks like it should be condemned I’m done it’s overpriced anyways $1899 For Orange ruffy dinner Come on a hole in the wall Come on clean yourself up

Excellent! Good Southern Cookin’. Fried Catfish and shrimp are awesome. Mac n cheese is the real deal..hush puppies were best I’ve had in a while and i even liked their red beans and rice, which is a first for me! Would highly recommend! Nothing was disappointing.

Took a while to get food because it’s FRESH, it’s not yesterday’s food or something they have sitting around too long. Best food I’ve had in a long while. Greens are tender with the perfect blend of heat and seasoning. Catfish is fresh and don’t have a rubber taste to it. Hush puppies…. I got mines cold because of who picked them up for me. Best hush puppies ever. They taste like cornbread, crunchy on the outside but have almost like a dressing taste inside it’s insane. Check em out and spread the word and I’ll definitely keep nagging my gf until we can make it back
