Cameron was a college town from 1883 until 1930. Founded as the Cameron Institute, it became Missouri Wesleyan College, operated by the Methodist Church until 1930. A building on the campus would become Cameron High School (the Dragons) until being torn down in the 1960s, when a new high school was built on a site a few blocks south; the campus grounds are now used as parking for the nearby football field.
Just a little bit of the history of Cameron, the town we call home. We welcome you to Cameron and to Robyn’s. We know you will enjoy both.

It would a travesty to pass this by without stopping. The food is awesome, the service was fantastic and the dessert options are worth the stop all by themselves. We confirmed the blackberry pie and cheesecake were amazing. Portions are large as well.

We had a fantastic meal in every way! Fast, friendly service and fresh, hot food. We had the special – smoked pork chops and burnt ends. Huge portions served with Mac & cheese, fried potatoes and choice of green beans or corn. Highly recommend!

Ewwww Weeee! Yum Yum Yum, Get You Some! Very tender burnt ends, nice greenbeans, and tender potatoes. Fun atmosphere and loved the door panel table tops. The food can make you move here!

Great place, very friendly and good service. The cheese curds, onion rings and pork tenderloin sandwich was great after a long days travel. Real local flare.

Stopped here in mid afternoon on a Wednesday, they weren’t busy at all during that time. Husband and I sat right down and immediately our drink orders were taken and delivered. Husband ordered their daily special and I chose a burger, each of us ordered appetizers to share. Husbands meal was definitely home made and my burger was actually a patted out burger. Not pre-made then frozen entrée like so many restaurants are changing to. Appetizers were more expensive than other places but they were worth it. Everything was really good, and served to us hot. Service was excellent, dining room was clean and atmosphere was comfortable. I definitely would recommend Robyn’s to anyone and I look forward to stopping here again when I am in the Cameron area.

We were just passing through town and stopped for dinner here, it was so good!!! Everything came out tasting hot and fresh, service was friendly and food came out quickly. The catfish was perfectly cooked, husband had burnt ends and enjoyed them. The basket of fried pickles was HUGE and really tasty! Also, the sodas were HUGE which I love! Great meal, no complaints!

In the interest of helping other newbies, this is a “seat yourself” establishment, it’s not clear when you initially walk in. Also there is a small surcharge for credit card purchases which is not posted anywhere that I saw, but it is very minor (3%ish). Beyond that the food is excellent and reasonably priced. I had the catfish special which came with green beans, mac and cheese, and coleslaw. The catfish could have been cooked about a minute longer, but it was really tasty, and a healthy slab of fish. Their pie is excellent as well. You certainly won’t walk out hungry. This is just a good hometown restaurant. Will be back when I’m in the area.

This is a good family oriented place to eat, but not necessarily a date night spot. Our food was straightforward off the menu and was alright-not bad, but not great. I was looking forward to the Friday night special Ribeye, but unfortunately the special ran out before 7pm as did the mashed potato side that came with it. I had the 13oz catfish instead and did enjoy it. The atmosphere and anesthetics of the place were light and enjoyable. I would recommend this place to bring your young family.
