Life moves fast, this place is a perfect lil spot to celebrate a birthday in a crunch or grab a quick fancy bite. Delicious, curated beauty is what you’re eating. The drinks taste like they come from a magic garden and the atmosphere is dark and low lit. Always preferred. Thanks to our waiter Brandon for delivering the goods.

RoCA is one of my “tried and true” favorites in Des Moines for a group of friends or a table for two. The shareable plates are actually sized to share and I appreciate that there are multiple options for my vegetarian friends. The wine list and craft cocktails are also impressive. Some menu favorites include the stuffed peppadew peppers, seared yellowfin, truffle fries and the El Chapo (jalapeño tequila + strawberry) craft cocktail. Now my mouth is watering and I can’t wait to return!

The food was amazing!!! The fish tacos were epic. The scallops were also wonderful. The food came out very fast. However the waitress we had was not nice. It took forever for her to come back for our drink order. When we asked for help on finding a specific dish she brushed us off.
