Rocco’s is the one pizzeria my family and I agree on. All around the best pizza around here. The wait was a little long for a simple order but once you take a bite you forget how long you waited because it is so…friggin…good. You just know this is what Italy tastes like!!!

You know those old style pictures chain restaurants put up to remind you of Italy? This is the real deal. Close your eyes and travel. The food was delicious. The garlic bread app. Garlic butter wings came tender and fragrant. I had a pepperoni and olive small pizza, six slice. So good. Exactly what I expected.

Arriving at a restaurant in Glens Falls at 8:15 pm means it’s the end if their day. Most places roll up at 9pm, I don’t understand that. On this HOT June evening we opted to sit outside since it was cooler than inside. There was no ac. I felt like I was in Italy! The traffic noise was a bummer. Lots of muffler noise and motorcycles so atmosphere was not great. We ordered a small pizza and in time it arrived. Pizza was really good. No complaints. But at 8:45 the server started to take down the flags outside, right at our table and started to close up shop. We were still eating. She popped the check on our table at that time too. Didn’t ask if we wanted espresso or dessert. She must have been told to move us out. We’ll, we did. We didn’t finish the pizza, took the rest home and they turned off the lights as soon as we got off our chairs. So, not hospitality here. But good pizza. It would be great if Rocco took a different storefront away from the heavy traffic and turn it into a really enjoyable experience.

I ordered the lobster ravioli and it’s not exactly cheap. But that’s OK w/me as long as it’s good.i spoke w/the woman and asked if I could do a white cream sauce instead of red. She gave me the option and I said what I wanted. Ordered something else w/it too (can’t remember what exactly) but the order was around $65. I get it, the ravioli is in red sauce, and the rest of the food was disgusting. The lobster ravioli tasted like it was frozen. Probably will never order from there again. It’s too bad.

Very tastey pizza, reasonably priced, fantastic service. A medium is plenty for 3 people. Call ahead and order well before your ready to eat if you want Sicilian style because they require extra time.

I like this place a lot. The food is excellent and I’ve never had bad service here. Rocco makes an excellent tomato sauce. The only reason I don’t give him five stars is because his hours are sometimes spotty. These days, restaurants can have staff problems, and if the restaurant is not busy, it’s possible that they will close early. Parking here is not very good. There are three spots in front of the restaurant plus a 10 minute spot for takeout. Other than that you have to look around for street parking on the side streets.
