This place was a good time. The drinks and food were pretty good. The bartender was very helpful with helping me pick the fish and chips. Karaoke starts at 9:30pm and there is a $5 to sign up, I believe. People line up before the DJ gets started, so sit near the door to be close to the line to sign up.

The food and service were pretty good, I’d come here again. The bartender that I dealt with was an absolute sweetheart!

This place is, and I hope will always be, a classic in Alexandria. However, the last time I went on a Saturday, I was disappointed that they weren’t playing fun and upbeat songs that get people on the dance floor, like Cupid Shuffle etc. They used to have an awesome DJ/host that would mix having people sing and playing songs to get people on the floor. This time it was low-key ballads etc. and just low energy. It was also noticeably less crowded than it used to be in the past. I brought friends there for my birthday and we ended up leaving after less than an hour because it didn’t pass the vibe check like it used to. Please bring back the fun mix of upbeat songs that really get the crowd going, you’ll get more customers coming back.

What a great place to bring friends to have a good time! The karoke nights are so much fun and the place gets crowded so show up early if you want a table. Karoke starts at 9! This is more of a place to come drink and sing, not as much a dinner place.

Deceptive. Looks like a dive bar, but serves up some delicious restaurant quality fare. Takes a minute after you order, but I’m told it’s because it’s actually being cooked and not simply reheated. I’d go again. Protip. Parking after 6 is free and behind the building.

it’s half neighborhood bar and half karaoke groupies – and you have to pay for a songs. Happy hour is decent, crowd is not the same folks that live in the area, but overall a decent dive bar.

Such a bummer. This used to be me and my friend’s favorite karaoke spot, we would always come when everyone was in town, and even though it is divey and kind of gross it was fun and the drinks were cheap. But now they are charging $5 per person to sing, and the DJ was really uptight and brought the mood down. No wonder the place was empty when historically there was always a line out the door. Will not come back after 10+ years of good times.

A Classic bar. No razzle dazzle. Had a good drink and great portions. Food and drink menu had a decent selection. The place was big but at 3p on a Friday at the noon almost totally empty. The bar tender said the night scene is better/fuller. There was stage for live music/band so I am inclined to believe it. Not cheap but not expensive either. Worth a visit for sure!

Greated on arrival. Happened to come during happy hour and did not even need to ask for 2nd beer. Was served with our food. Both had the shrimp poe boy in a wrap with fries. Soooo good. Fries were hand cut and crispy. Yuengling on tap and Devils backbone IPA. Very good find. Bar atmosphere. Karaoke after we left because we are an early eater. Music was 80s which is right up our alley.

We stopped by on a Friday evening for a quick drink after getting into town. This place was packed, it seemed to have a great following.
