Classic bar and grill on a lake in the woods. It doesn’t get any better than that. A rustic lodge setting with views of the lake right from your table. They had some of the best fish I ever had, and I’ve had a lot of fish fries. Broiled yet crispy! It was perfect.

Nice campground in the country beside beautiful lake. Bar and grill in the middle, good food, cold beer. Nice pool. Stayed in a 30ft 5th wheel. A bit tight maneuver for the dump station. Owner and staff very nice. Would stay again..

We stopped at the little restaurant to cool off after riding around hickory ridge trails. Restaurant food was tasty cheese curds were delicious and the burger wasnt too bad. Quiet little place to bring the family and relax.

The sites are very close together giving no privacy or feeling of camping out in nature. Seems to be poor upkeep of the facilities like the pit toilets, picnic tables, and even the fire pits are broken and have large holes in them. Do not recommend this place for tent camping especially at the cost. My site was supposed to have electricity and water but didn’t and so paying almost $50 per night is ridiculous. Don’t waste your money, find someplace else!

New ownership is not friendly to fisherman and snowmobiles. They charge $2 per person per day to use the landing. Bit steep but I put a 20 in knowing I would be back. Next time they leave a note saying I have to pay again. The third take up there I paid $2 so they wouldn’t get upset, so for those that are counting that’s $16 more than I should have. The parking lot was full this time and I got another note saying I can’t park in the lot.

My family were seasonal campers here for the last 5yrs. The original ownership was amazing, very friendly and made you feel welcome and a home away from home. With that said after the new ownership took over this past year the campground and atmosphere took a downward spiral.
