This place Rocks!! Great rock/metal music playing, awesome atmosphere and the food is delicious! I got the spicy sashimi salad and it was gorgeous and yummy! The servers are very kind and checked on our table many times to make sure we were all good. 10/10! Can be a bit pricey but for the tastiness of the food it’s worth it

Very impressed! Our server was Alonda, she is one of the managers and is such a kind person. The wontons are the best that I have ever had, they weren’t greasy and were stuffed with filling! My family got the VIP roll, jam sesh roll, Velcro pygmies roll, and the punk rock roll. The brownie was to die for! The atmosphere is great and cool. Everything is very clean, especially the bathrooms. My grandparents love it here and now so do I!

This place rocks! We got the tour bus roll, prema Donna roll, good times roll and electric roll. Everything was so fresh and had great flavor. Our server Sophia was very friendly and attentive. The entire experience was really cool. I was thinking it was gonna be loud cause of he o’clock theme but it wasn’t at all. We will absolutely be back next time we are in town!

I came here for dinner on Valentine’s day after my reservation was not honored at Sushi Matsuri. I didn’t have high hopes with getting a table since it is a holiday, but there were a few tables outside with no wait time. Since the weather was nice, I agreed to that. The hostess was kind and so was our waitress, Sophia/Sophie (sorry). The food was also great and our waitress made sure that we had a good experience and made accommodations for one of our plates arriving later since the kitchen was backed up. Despite the rush of Valentine’s day, the service and food was delivered with kindness and quality. We will definitely be coming back here! The inside and vibe of the place is great and unique as well :).

I didn’t expect the sushi to be so good, the VIP roll blew me away, as did the headbanger shrimp! The atmosphere is pretty unique for a sushi place. Not a huge menu for non-sushi items but if you’re on the fence, a deep fried roll is usually a safe bet for the timid sushi beginner.

My first experience here was wonderful! I sat at the bar and Amaya was my server. She is so sweet and made my time here so much better! She made sure my drinks were full and overall gave the best service. The food was AMAZING. I had the British evasion which was so good and the headbanger shrimp appetizer. Highly Recommend this place! Atmosphere reminds of me home in Hollywood! (I lived next to the hard rock casino) I would definitely come here to just grab a drink and hang out.

We heard that this spot opened recently but had not visited yet. We had the opportunity to take part in the food festival at celebration pointe on 5/27 and they were there with the biggest crowd of the event. We tried the 3 rolls they were offering and were convinced to make a trip. The place is brand new and it rocks! We were delighted to have Amaya as our waitress and she was perfect. Very knowledgeable about each and every menu item. She made recommendations and knew everything about the event we attended. We wanted to try a bunch of different things so we got edamame and an appetizer sampler with egg rolls, jalapeño poppers and more. We had the same 3 rolls from before which were the Punk Rock roll, Good Time roll and the Crowd Surfer roll. We also tried the VIP roll, Sunset Strip and a spicy tuna roll. Personally everything hit the mark. I want to call out a few though. Firstly, the Punk Rock is want got my attention at the event and a full roll was amazing. The balance with strawberries, avocado and jalapeños on top was just an incredible combination. I did thoroughly enjoy the VIP which we got fried. The Cajun crawfish sealed the deal for me on this one. I have to also say the sampler was a great choice to get a variety of great options especially worth trying the jalapeño poppers. The ambience was super good with rock music videos playing on the TV’s including personal ones at certain tables. There’s beer, wine and sake. I highly recommend this place and will be returning every time we hit up Gainesville.

I love their decorationsvwith all the guitars hanging on the wall, and they even have a TV screen in some booths with rocknroll MTVs. The vibe is great but somehow it doesn’t fit in with the food – sushi! Well, the food was great though . One thing that makes me take away a star from service – I prefer the waiter not to stand there waiting for me to sign the checkout with her portable device. I need to calculate the tips

This has been a wonderful experience! Service was delightful and prompt. The food was really tasty, and overall the place has a wonderful atmosphere. It does have 70s-90s rock music blasting on the louder side with nice bass, so intimate conversations may be a bit difficult, but honestly, I find that to be a great feature. They have music videos of the songs playing on the TV’s everywhere, so there is always somewhere to look. It’s a fun atmosphere and I can see bringing loud friends looking for yummy sushi and hanging out, or eating with someone you just want to sit with and space out listening to music.
