I really enjoyed my meal. The appetizer was huge, very filling I even had some leftover. My sushi roll was great but I could not eat it then, too full from the appetizer. I definitely will be returning.

Highly understaffed multiple weekends. They lost liquor license and the good sushi rollers. Almost pointleas to go to this place. Food on the floor tables sticky think the owner gave up on caring. Staff seems overworked and food longer brings joy. No longer enjoyable how does a sushi place run out of rice? The hibachi side suffers from cooks that dont enjoy there work anymore. There is almost no point in this location other then cash grab by name alone. Also this was the third time we are told an hour wait not just by staff but by customers.

Absolutely the worst rock n roll sushi I have ever been to. Our waitress was literally asleep on the bar most of our visit. When she wasn’t she was on her phone. We had to repeatedly ask for drinks, napkins, hell anything. When we asked for anything she acted as if we bothered her. Once we finally got our food we had to wait even longer (we waited 45 minutes ) because even after asking she took forever to bring us silverware. Would be understandable but we were the only people in the restaurant at all. Absolutely awful experience.

Food was fine. It was not worth the 40 minute wait, however. The restaurant is sadly understaffed and overworked. The atmosphere is also super odd, but can be appealing to those who like rock music. They play the music videos right in front of you, which are either super alarming or downright odd while you’re eating. Additionally, though I can’t necessarily prove it, I got super nauseated and sick a day after I ate here, which lasted for well over a week. I have reason to believe that improper raw ingredient storage gave me some sort of food poisoning. To sum things up, try to find a better place to spend your hard earned cash.

Very impressed with the new management here. It’s a small restaurant, but it’s organized and very updated. My friends and I love enjoying good food after shift, this place ROCKED from the moment we walked in management was checking on us, being involved in our care, and making sure everything was perfect. Sushi was delicious. Talk about unique rolls, that please your taste buds and tummy. I am highly impressed with this distinctive joint. Highly recommend!

Ok so I love this place… lol. Usually I get the spicy shrimp roll which is awesome… but this time I got not only that, but also tried their crispy wontons and the thriller roll. AMAZING! The crispy wontons have crab and cream cheese in it, and the sauce that goes with it is really delicious. The thriller roll has shrimp tempura and cream cheese inside, the roll is fried, and then there’s baked crab meat on top. This one is a definite go to from now on… that thriller roll is amazing. Friendly staff, they are great. They will help you make a decision if you’re not sure what you want. Will definitely keep coming to Rock and Roll sushi. It’s a 10 out of 10 for me

Amazing! The wontons absolutely stole the show. You HAVE to get them! Military friendly restaurant with a kind, very attentive owner. This establishment has only been reopened under new ownership for a little over a month and they have done an outstanding job.

While this location does offer a 10% military discount, this is about the only thing positive they have going for them. My family was the first customers in to restaurant today (it opened about 4 minutes late, making us wait in the hot sun), and it was clear that it was dirty and the floors were not cleaned from the previous day, nor had the trashcans been emptied in the restroom. Only one person was working the front of the restaurant today (Latricha) and she was clearly understaffed–even though we were the only people in the restaurant, it still took an 45 minutes to get our food out to us. Also, we were overcharged–we were supposed to get three miso soups but the hostess only brought us two. I waited about 5 minutes to talk to the hostess to resolve the issue, but she never came out from the back so I just left–it wasn’t worth wasting more of my time. I also had to flag the hostess down to bring out soy sauce for my family, which took about 5 minutes again to get her attention. Finally, while the atmosphere tries to be hip, the music volume was WAY to loud, and I had to negotiate with the staff to have it lowered even though my family was the only ones in the restaurant. Do yourself a favor, go to Yokohama Japanese Restaurant on Vaughn and Bell Road; you will have a much better experience.
