I have been at this restaurant 2 times first time was amazing the 2nd time about 3 weeks ago with my brother sat at a table I had to tell the waitress we needed menus and if we could get drinks. It took her 20 minutes for the drinks. Mind you a couple she knew came in she got their orders and drinks right away. Waited 50 minutes for her to come back to either take our orders or see if we needed refills and finally got frustrated went up to the bar ask to pay for our drinks. Roadside bar and grill. Was hopping when we came in but we had menus and drinks in seconds. Some snacks and a few rounds of beer. Worth the stop. They also have a taxidermied bear who was a big hit with my wife.

If you want a beer, cool place, if you want a beer or drink with food, forget about it. Ordered 2 drinks for me and wife, no one bothered to see if we wanted to order food after we asked for menus. Cook was sitting down smoking a cigarette while bartender totally ignored us and catered to the half occupied bar.. Good for a beer or two, but if you want food, avoid this place. And I generally give people the benefit of doubt. The 1 star is for parking.

I ordered BLT and when I finally got it imagine my surprise to find ONE slice of THIN bacon. Bartender was our waitress. She was nice enough but busy with the bar. Took forever to pay check. Not my first time in here since moving here 12 years ago. Might go back if a ride ends there.

Interestings place with a historical feel to it. The problem is the the food is ok. It’s not great food, but it’s bar ok. I’m not sure that I would bring children under 10 to the place. If they are mature young adults that it a good place for them. The food is pretty cheap for the quality. I myself would not go back there again.
