The nachos were amazing. Kind of pricy but good portion. The location and view was amazing. The water containers were cute. Will return in the winter to see the snow.

Slow, slow, slow! Our two burgers alone took over an hour to come. Then they said the cookie would take 15 minutes and that took an extra 28 minutes. Including the initial wait, the meal took over 2 hours! They refilled our drinks once during that time. Our waitress seemed nice but also totally overworked (the only reason I left 2 stars instead of 1). I left angry because the lunch took up so much of our vacation time. I felt like a hostage waiting there.

This place was packed on a Monday night during winter break. It took a long time for the food to arrive. However, the servers were attentive and kept customers apprised and it was fairly easy to order drinks while waiting. The food was great.

STAY AWAY IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES! I rode my bike from Tahoe City to Palisades on Saturday with family, and ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower. I have a severe nut allergy and purposefully ordered this because the chicken sandwich had pesto on it which was stated on the menu. The menu did not state that the Buffalo Cauliflower had almond paste in it. Luckily there was a trail marathon going on with an ER doctor with an epi pen and Benadryl. Thank god because I was 25 minutes from the ER. I believe this restaurant is owned by Palisades At Tahoe which is frightening for a big resort that has thousands of kids with allergies visiting yearly. STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT.

This was an amazing dining experience, the people who work here are very kind. But the food is even better. I got the rocker burger and regular fries and would highly recommend. Fries are a big thing for me as they may be for you, they have the perfect ratio of crunch and softness. Food came out pretty quick and there is a bar though I sat at a table. Hopefully you’ll have the same experience as I did!

Solid lunch. It’s expensive, but that’s what you’d expect on the mountain. $24/person after tax/tip.

I had lunch today with my friends at the Rocker in the Palisades Tahoe Village. When he brought us the check we mentioned that we had IKON Passes but he refused to give us the 10% discount because “they” meaning management are “iffy” about it an they dont like to give it out. I am a regular annual visitor at this resort and never had refused the IKON pass discount on any of the participating outlets. Food was decent.

Auto gratuity of 22%. We were not happy with their wine recommendation (Evolution) although we were recommended a better one first (Synthesis, although they did not have any stock), and they did not offer any compensation after we complained.
