It took 15 minutes for the server to come greet us. I’m not sure why their were so many workers, but 3 people weren’t doing anything at all. They could have helped our girl out if she was so busy she couldn’t make it to us to say hello & get our drink order.

We ended up in Rockland for a night and lucked up and found this food gold mine! It’s the perfect laid-back place. FYI: There are 2 entrances, one on the main street and a lower level entrance behind the building with a staircase to take you up. There’s also parking back there. Take the alleyway right past the front. It will take you to parking behind it. The food was beyond great 6 stars in my book. I had the special beef stroganoff with noodles. My fiancee had the lobster roll. Service was top-notch. On a funny side note, my fiance and i are from Georgia, so it was great hearing the thick Maine/New England accents from the staff. It was like having the Kennedy family serve us dinner. Lol. Don’t waste your money on a chain restaurant if you come through Rockland, spend it here on some great local food and people.

You go here for seafood – and a lot of it. My wife had the double lobster and I had a fish basket. She really enjoyed the lobster. I felt the fish basket was just “ok”. I would not get it again. I expected small pieces of fried fish like in the photo but it was just a slab of fish with very little batter. The French fries were good as was the coleslaw.

Quite good! Tastes like hometown diner food served with a smile! The portions were sizeable, reasonably priced, and came out quickly, and piping hot! I ordered the shrimp basket and it was more than enough food!

Cute hideaway cafe on a busy street! The food was OK as the fried scallops were kind of greasy and after eating 6 or so, I was done with my sandwich. My husband had a crab sandwich and was indifferent about it, and wanted to try a different crab sandwich from another location for comparison and was much happier with the second option. I dont like leaving poor reviews but I have to be honest that it was OK. The staff were wonderful and attentive and overall it was a good experience.

Chose this place from a long list of options in Rockland. Pleasantly surprised by the seafood menu, to go with the numerous other menu items. Scallops were sweet and well cooked, though the batter was salty. Fried classic were delicious. Fish cake was a fun twist on a crab cake…enjoyed with a squeeze of lemon. Service was quick and the prices were reasonable. Worth a stop!!!

Huge disappointment. We waited 20 min to be seated and then another 35 min at a table to order. They were busy so no problem. But then they took other orders ahead of us. And when they started to take the order of a group in the table next to us, that was seated for 5 minutes. I asked the server if she would take our order instead. Given our much longer wait. She said it wasn’t her section so she couldn’t help. I asked for the manager, and she said she was the manager. So I told her as manager it was her problem. She said she’d been there 30 years. I took that to mean she was right somehow. She went ahead and took their order. My group got up and left.
