We went in monday night at 9:33 under the understanding they closed at 10:00pm. When we walked in we asked politely if we could sit and the hostess was very dismissive, she went away and we just heard her say from afar “you go talk to them” to another person instead of being forward and telling us “no”. The only person who was nice enough was one of the cooks who said their “last call” was at 9:30. 3 minutes before we went in, and their OPEN sign was still on. Fix your schedule or specify your “last call” times (that should not be HALF an hour before your closing time).

Great place in gateway, the lava drops are an absolute winner. Personally in love the volcano roll special which gets you shrimp tempura. The escalar sashimi is fresh and good, and their beef to Taki with New York strip. Steak is out of this world. Highly recommend

I live not too far from here and have heard great things about it, naturally I had to check it out to see what all the hype was about. Pretty darn good. Our appetizers were great, crab ragoons and gyoza, yum yum. The sushi we ordered was fresh and flavorful. Being close to home I think we found our new sushi go to. We’ll see you soon. ❤

This restaurant was way better than I ever could have expected. We decided to stop in there for a quick snack. Turns out it was happy hour and they had $4 appetizers. All of my snack dreams came true. Very clean restrooms. Very authentic food.

Started going for first time two Sundays ago, the sushi are awesome great, but on this last Sunday I order the mixed rice with shrimp, shrimp tasted boiled but not in sink with taste, rice was tasteless, I was disappointed with rice. But overall would go back!

Food is good. Service is inconsistent. A couple of ladies handle all tables. Food comes out in waves so everyone at the table eats in sections. People that work there are nice. There is usually a short wait for a table.
