I really wanted to like this restaurant. My wife and I spent ~$100 on lunch and two drinks here. We both had paella ($32). We initially assumed the paella serving might be sharable based on the price but it was not large enough for that. Food was fine. If value was better I would probably rate the restaurant higher. The menus printed on paper and overall ambiance just was not what corresponded to the price. There was a somewhat unpleasant smell (like it wasn’t cleaned too). Pisco sour was good, my wife’s sangria was not terrible but not great. Service was quite good and very attentive.

Searched for New and Hot restaurants in South San Francisco and this came up as number 1, so we went and tried it.

This was my first visit. Wasn’t very hungry. The service was friendly and helpful. The menu offered many choices. I decided to try their ceviche and jalea. In found the ceviche lacking a bit of flavor, and asked for additional hot sauce, which wasn’t very hot. Parking can be a problem, although I was fortunate to find street parking right across the restaurant. Perhaps this was due to the time, around 4pm. I intend to return to try some of the other dishes.

The Lomo Saltado and Pollada Peruana were good. I asked for some spicy sauce which was good and tasted like it has a lot of lime in it.

We really enjoyed this restaurant! The mushroom empanadas, anticuchos, and churrasco were all great. Even the side salad was really good. Didn’t have to wait for a table, great service throughout, and loved the sangria!

Lomo saltado was very good and well prepared. Cebiche was also very good but the portion were small. The anticucho sauce was well prepared but it is not beef heart. The anticuchos need to be marinated more. In general the dinner was good and the space between tables was really was good. I enjoyed it. Parking in that area is difficult.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I had avoided going for a few months because the prices seemed a bit higher than other restaurants in SSF. But the food was really excellent quality, I especially enjoyed the mushroom empanadas and ceviche. The pisco sours were also nice!
