Rockton Bar is a log cabin, family run bar since 1970. We are located in the middle of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. We offer a full menu with daily specials. On Sundays April through October we serve BBQ Chicken that is cooked outside on our large charcoal grill. Rockton has all the seasons, because of our location we have snowmobile, horse, mountain bike, and hiking trails that come right through our parking lot. We also rent canoes and are UTV accessible. The motorcycles, car clubs and bikes enjoy riding through our hills and valleys, and Wildcat Mountain State Park is always a hit. The driftless area is well known for its hunting and fishing opportunities.

Stopped on a Sunday for their chicken dinner. It was some if the best I have had. We didnt get their until around 6pm so it has been in a warmer. The next time I go it will be earlier so I can get it hot off the question. I had 1/2 + 1/4 chicken.

Motorcycle ride for the almost world famous chicken. They have canoe rentals, and there must be horse trails around because horse riders were everywhere. You don’t need a bike but if you want to go for the chicken, you should call ahead.

Came for the Sunday Chicken. Since we opted to skip the rush, our chicken was only lukewarm and kinda dry. Our pre-ordered meals obviously sat under a heater for an hour or two. $13 for a grilled half-chicken, macaroni salad, and canned baked beans seemed a bit steep for the quality.

We like coming here for the Sunday BBQ chicken. We had it today and it was good but a bit on the dry side. We also noticed the people cooking are really pouring on the seasoning almost to the point of being too salty. It still was good and we will be back. Only suggestion is to back off on the seasoning and maybe cook it a little less done so it doesn’t dry out.

Chicken was great as always. Haven’t been here for about 5 years. Things have changed a bit with the layout of how the line and now drive through go. They could’ve used more help getting the plates to the customers better. Only one person trying to do the walk-in and drive through wasn’t nearly enough

The aesthetics were OK, but the food was just really sloppy. The burgers came on a very, very, very tiny paper plate. They didn’t come with fries, you had to buy them separately. The burger itself was just a Costco frozen patty and then I ordered the beer cheese topping, which was literally ice cold. Every condiment on your burger cost extra. The pretzel bun with something that you get at Walmart and it wasn’t toasted. Fries and onion rings were overly fried and hard. Just go to Wendy’s. At least you’ll get real hamburger meat and hot food.. Js
