The Pretzel Bites with Beer Cheese was delicious. My husband got the Beer Burger and enjoyed it. I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was nicely fried and the chicken was a good size and thick. I got the Spicy Mule. It was good. However, it could have been better if the jalapenos had been muddled as described. They have a great selection of bourbon, ryes, Irish whiskey, etc. It didn’t take long to get a table on a Friday night about 7pm. The service was top notch.

Absolutely loved this place! Great vibe from the moment you walk in. If you are lucky enough to get Trinity as your waitress, you will be well taken care of! Everything she suggested was spot on. The food was excellent and the prices were more than fair! For 50 years Rocky Mount has been a place we passed threw to get to Roanoke…no more! It is one of our destination spots now!

This place is clean, customer service is outstanding, it was packed when we ate there, but the service was fast, and great. The Food was delicious, out of this world good. We will be going back. I urge you to give them a try. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

Great Service! Great food! Very nice setup, clean. Super friendly staff. Tables, booths, a bar and outside seating. Great prices on good food. Loved the hot dog! Easily accessible with plenty of parking right in downtown.

The service we received at our lunch yesterday was nothing short of appalling. I have never experienced anything like it at a restaurant. We are locals and that will be my last time eating at this establishment. The food was subpar as well-the rolls were stale, the meat on the sandwiches chewy, and the bottom of the bread soaked. If the owner is interested in the behavior of their staff, I would be happy to discuss further.

We came in during a Sunday lunch, Father’s day, and the had a special of 2 beers for free which was a great perk for my husband! The food tasted great, the beer cheese and pretzel sticks we wonderful, and the pretzels warm and fresh. The burgers were great, and they even had a kids menu. The entrees don’t come with fries, and neither does the kids menu, it comes with chips, so the cost point of some of the food seems a little high for what you’re served. You also pay a good deal for a limited amount of fries, so I was a little disappointed at that. That being said, again, the food tasted great. Our server was on top of things, and very sweet and personable. The wait time for food was a bit long, and most of the tables around us were waiting similarly long for food. Id come if you have a longer amount of time to wait, and definitely order an appetizer.

RMBC has some of the best sandwiches in the area. Surprisingly, they also have really fun mixed drinks and a really elaborate collection of whiskies and bourbons. Look for weekly events that keep this place a fun, family-friendly environment to drop in to. And if you’re gonna always bevm treated to a great story from a local!
