Walking into this Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory was like walking into a dream. I went recently with my friends after seeing it across the street on our way to try Gator Jack’s. When we opened the door, the most amazing smell of freshly made chocolates and ice cream greeted us along with the friendliest of faces. We were drawn to their ice cream, and while looking at it, we were greeted with the biggest smile and offers to try whatever ice cream we wanted. We had great discussions on their different chocolates, and got to watch them make the shakes by hand. Did I already mention that they were just the sweetest people?? Because both of the people working there were absolute sweethearts. They really have the vibe of a sweet family business and made me feel like family, too. Made my day. The milkshake and the sweets that I got were also very good. My only complaint is that I don’t live in this area and can’t come here all the time.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!! Seriously the cutest lil place for treats and fun stuff in rexburg. The Rice Krispies treat with the homemade caramel and chocolate is absolutely divine. The caramel apples are absolutely amazing. Everything we’ve had here we’ve loved. You can tell they put so much hard work and love into making this place absolutely amazing. Everyone is so friendly (especially the owner if you’re lucky enough to be there the same time as here). Very highly recommend!

One could say that not much needs to be said about a chocolates and treats store that isn’t already implied with “chocolates” in the name, but I disagree. It’s a place to forget about the world’s problems for just a moment, and feel like a kid in a candy store. The employees, led by a wonderful and kind woman, will guide you through this chocolate paradise and help you select the perfect sweets for you. Are chocolates not quite your cup of tea? Well then stop in and get one of the largest caramel apples you’ll find! They’re decorated with the most decadent of ingredients and come in a variety of flavors! Still not quite what your looking for? Then stop in for a hot customized cup of cocoa or a scoop of their delicious ice cream! Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory never seems to disappoint, wherever you may go! Their selection is great, and they even have Reeds Dairy Ice Cream! Plan to spend a little bit, but it is totally worth it, and they seem to generally have deals on their Facebook page, so check it out! We got some caramel apples, and we just loved them!!

We come in here regularly and order apples I don’t think they even make anymore but they are ALWAYS more than willing to help us and are SO HAPPY. They have the BEST SERVICE we have experienced in rexburg and when things have gone awry they do their best to make it right and always go above and beyond. Today is our 3 year anniversary and without even knowing the wonderful woman there gave us a HUGE rice crispy COVERED in chocolate and caramel for free and was just amazing. She brightened our day for sure.

They have lots of selection and sale local Ice Cream from Reed’s Dairy. I got a vanilla truffle and it wasn’t fantastic which is a bummer after spending $3.13 on one. It tasted like okay chocolate and the filling wasn’t as creamy as I hoped. The filling honestly tasted like drinking baking vanilla. So if you want flavored chocolates I’d say go to Florence’s Chocolate in Rexburg.

The shop feels really nice, and has a cool vibe. And the staff was friendly, But the food itself is way overpriced, and leaves you wondering why you didn’t make the same stuff at home. The chocolate and other ingredients are good, no doubt, but nothing worthy of their price tags. I was served lukewarm hot chocolate, which was just microwave reheated, and overall, the food just isn’t worth it. Not a ton of variety either. You’d be better off finding a recipe online and making these treats yourself. The place has good potential but just don’t waste your money.
