It’s even better than the picture, and the picture is mouthwatering!!! This small business is a true authentic NY Deli with flavors that could only come from NY! The owner is beyond nice and has hired an equally pleasant staff. You won’t be disappointed with any thing from the menu here!!

This is one of my girlfriend’s favorite places but was my first visit. The classic roast beef is an absolute delight!

Best deli in Savannah. Sandwiches are great. This place does a great job and think they might need to expand soon. Too much goodness at this place. If you need porkroll fix get the Turnpike.

I’m a Jersey girl and I moved to Savannah for the weather and the beautiful landscape that Savannah has to offer.. so when I found this hidden gem I was pleased with having a good Ole pastrami sandwich . It made me feel at home for a bit. Great place, nice people who run the restaurant and while there met another Jersey girl! Two thumbs up to Rocky’s NY Deli. BTW I told my family about this spot.. because we’ve all mostly have relocated here and they go there too!

This Deli is wonder. Definitely has the NY vibe from the pics to the food. The staff were fun and friendly. I got the Anna Maria with pasta salad. I’m normally a meat and potatoes girl, but this was a great switch up. The Anna Marie was a fresh cold sandwich packed full of flavor. The pasta salad hit the spot! My hubs got the Southpaw and potato knish. The southpaw was cheesy and savory! The potato knish was amazing, and I’m not a fan of blue cheese, but the flavors were so perfectly balanced. We will definitely be returning to try more stuff!

Grabbed a couple sandwiches to go while I was in the area, (The Brenda & The “T”), both were excellent, with their house brined /smoked brisket pastrami stealing the show!! Excellent service and loved the memorabilia! Go METS!!!

Originally I was looking for a good sub shop in Savannah. I tried a few places, nothing really hit the mark of something I’d go back to but this place.. this place is the one that you’ll crave! Do yourself a favor and get the chopped cheese you won’t regret it. In all honesty you won’t regret anything from here plus All the staff members in there are also very nice it makes for an overall great visit every time.

I visited the establishment for the first time yesterday. When I arrived there were four staff members present in the front area, but there was no greeting. No big deal, it just threw me off a bit. I looked at the menu for a few minutes, then stepped up to the front counter. One of the staff members stood directly in front of me behind the counter. No hello, can I help you, nothing but a stare. She never spoke to me, only stared for what felt like forever, until I said hi and began to order. It was an extremely awkward encounter and the energy in the establishment felt “off.” One staff member who was re-stocking finally asked if I had been helped, which at that point my order had just been taken.

Husband got the Reuben and it is probably one of THE BEST Reubens in the Savannah area! I got the meatball parm sandwich and added hot peppers, AMAZING! I couldn’t eat but half of it, so much food! So good!! Good/Bad that I live 45min away, I would eat there too often and gain 50lbs!

Closer to NY than I’ve ever found in the south. Pretty damn good, but still not 100% like home. Small place, easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. Not a ton of space to eat in, especially when they are busy. The Italian baked goods were amazing, just like my Nona used to make. Large enough menu for everyone to find something they will like.
