4/20 update: my friends and I got food as usual. Wasn’t too busy when we first got there at 6pm but it picked up by 7. We ordered a second round of food, mainly desserts. Got the Thai donuts and mango sticky rice. The donuts were like beignets…small fluffy balls of deep fried dough, served with condensed milk. The mango sticky rice was delicious. However at some point, the woman working there asked if we need anything else and was a bit short. Basically she was rushing us out but I was literally still eating. It ruined the experience a bit. We weren’t just sitting around and taking up a table. Maybe she was just having a bad day which unfortunately affected us as well. Knocking off a star for now, hoping it’ll be better next time.
