I was living in Houghton when they opened this joint up. I was a regular patron because I worked at the dominoes next-door. Food is awesome, even better than I remember. Got the beef burrito bowl, and the beef was bursting with flavor A+!

I was in Houghton for one night and visit this place based in 5 star reviews. The food was good, but not great. It’s comparable to any fast food Mexican joints. The salsa was served cold (may be right from the fridge). The grilled chicken was bland without any hint of spices.

This is definitely not your run of the mill fast Mexican food joint. I’ve never been disappointed. The flavors are outstanding, the portions are quite generous and the prices reasonable. Be careful with the level of HOT that you order… your usual might be a bit too much… and enjoy. Highly recommended.

One of the best places in town for food. I’ve tired many of their options. I personally like the beef burrito, its huge by the way so I always have leaftovers. Definitely a plus. Only thing is seating is limited, so if it’s busy it’s not guaranteed. There are bottled drinks too as some of the food can be spicy to some people. Make sure to read all the options and what comes in it. Recommended 100%.

Good Mexican food for the area. I had pork, which was nice and soft, but didn’t have much in the way of seasonings. A comparable experience to Chipotle, which is acceptable but not exceptional. Props for their ‘XX’ salsa actually having a kick to it… most restaurants around here seem deathly afraid of delivering some heat.
