This restaurant is in a strip mall. But don’t let that fool you. Once you step through the doors you are in for a treat. The place looks like brand new. No rips in the seating and the decor is spot on. Not overly done on the colors but well appointed colors and Lighting. Tons of booths for that intimate feeling. The servers were quick to bring the chips and salsa and had a pleasant attitude. Was very patient while we looked over the menu and made our choice. My wife and I came in at lunch time. So we ordered off the lunch menu. The food is a lot more than the prices let on to be. I had steak fajitas for $9.95. And my wife had Carnitas for $8.95. The dinners came promptly and I was very amazed at the quantity of food that you get for such a low price. And the quality of the food was very good. It has a little bit more spice than some of the other places around here. Not overly hot or anything by any means but just a little more authenticness. So you should stop by and visit this place if you haven’t been here in quite a while. I’m not sure if they just remodeled or if they just open but the place really looks nice. I had heard from a friend that of all the “Rodeo” restaurants in the area, this one was the best. Unfortunately that wasn’t the experience I had. While the staff was cordial, I didn’t feel particularly welcome. When I sat at my table, I could immediately feel that it was sticky. It was that kind of sticky from a table that’s been wiped dozens of times but not actually cleaned. And the vents from the AC were leaking big fat drops of water onto my booth. When I brought this to the attention of my server, it was just a sort of “oh, yeah, well…” And they brought out a “wet floor” sign a few minutes later.

Excellent Mexican food is not that common in southeastern AL. Rodeo’s is the exception. Waiter was attentive, dishes came out quickly and the food was delicious. Note; hot salsa is available upon request. It is handmade and definitely e’spicy!

The food was good, but they did get part of the order wrong. They fixed it quick though so not a huge deal. Service was fast, and they were able to make sure we were satisfied. Music is too loud, and I can’t have a conversation without feeling like you need to yell.

The restaurant was very clean…our table spotless!!! The waiter was attentive and personable. The food was excellent. The meal prices were outstanding. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences I have had in several months!

After we were seated, the waiter asked our drink order and proceeded to walk away in the middle of it. We waited 20 minutes. The hostess at the door came and asked if someone took our drink order I said ” Sorta” she said “Okay,” and walked away. So they still didn’t know what we wanted another 15 mins and the original guy guy came back with the drinks he heard, and we ordered the rest and our food at this point. Another 15 mins we got the other drinks. At this point I really just wanted to pay for the drinks and go bc it was already almost 8pm and we have school kids. 30 mins after that some food. The only reason I gave 2 stars is bc for the most part, they usually have better service. This was ridiculously bad this time however.
