We just happened to come by this place and decided to stop. They bring out a huge basket of chips with salsa and a bowl of queso. Never had that happen without ordering the queso. The food was great. Big servings. The server was the best!

Absolutely the best authentic Mexican cuisine in Kansas. PERIOD. And I know my Mexican food and drink. It was bitter sweet as the dining experience reminded me of home. I’m so glad we found this place. I will definitely be back and be sure to bring more tourist Highly recommend!!

Never had a stuffed avocado before, and I liked it! It was a ton of food, and with the soup and taco included (plus free chips with remarkably tasty queso and salsa roja) one could very easily split this entree between two people. Well worth the price, glad I stopped here!

I highly recommend RodeoMexocan Restaurant! The food was super delicious and the home-made flour tortillas only put the icing on the cake. Our waitress was super attentive and fast.

Enjoyed a nice dinner at Rodeo Mexican Restaurant. Service was good and all our food was hot and fresh. More food than we could comfortably eat so enjoyed leftovers the next day.

Rodeo Mexican Restaurant is the best Mexican restaurant in the entire KC area. Better than anything on Southwest Blvd or any other popular place. Their food is creative and perfectly delicious every time. You need to come to Basehor just to go here.

Walked right in and was seated right away. They immediately brought us out chips, salsa and queso. The queso was great and the salsa had a different texture but was good. It’s rare to find places that start you off with free queso. They honestly have the best horchata I’ve had. The food had great flavor and the portions were perfect. The rice was a little dry for my liking, but I typically never eat the rice anyways. Service was great and they had refills ready to go. The pricing was around $10-12 per person, which was well worth it.

First impression…The host at the door that seated us was rude. The girl that brought our salsa and chips was also unpleasant. The food was ok however I think the menu is misleading. Tacos say it comes with guacamole but when asked was told it was an extra charge. My husband and daughter thought the shrimp tasted like Walmart brand frozen from a bag. The espinaca and salsa were a bit bland. We did enjoy the 5.99 margaritas.
