This is the second time I have been to Rodney Scott’s BBQ and it is absolutely delicious!! I enjoyed their brisket sandwich last time I was there but this time I treated myself and my husband. We got a 3 meat Platter with Turkey, Brisket, and Ribs; we also got the smoked wings, as well as my husband got some pulled pork (pork shoulder) their sides are absolutely delicious we got their french fries, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and even a surprise piece of corn bread that was perfectly moist and sweet. The employees always seem so nice and helpful too! This will become a regular date night spot!

My family of eleven visited here this past weekend for brunch. The location was not overly busy at about 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon. We were all able to order and seat ourselves while we waited. I ordered the two meats combo with ribs and brisket, with macaroni and cheese and it came with cornbread. The food was flavorful but you could tell the meat was not pit smoked but made in an oven. The brisket was too fatty for my liking but my partner enjoyed it. The coleslaw I tasted from someone’s plate had green peppers, that was different. The potatoe salad was great also. I would vsist again to try their other options.

Rodney Scott’s BBQ is okay. We got the Two meat plate with ribs, chicken, Cole slaw, and potato salad. The ribs were nicely seasoned, the chicken was bland. The potato salad was okay the Cole salad was bland. The BBQ sauces were VERY vinegar except the Kathy’s BBQ sauce.

Okay about Rodney’s BBQ, when I tell you it was better than my neighbor described it, it was delicious and authentic, I have been looking for a BBQ place that served ribs off the grill and not out of the oven and RODNEY’S BBQ DELIVERED AND THE PRICE WAS EVEN BETTER for the food you get, everything was good, the sides the ribs and chicken next time I go I’m trying other meats and sides

The food was pretty good (being my first time here) but I think the communication with knowing what’s in the food was off. I ordered baked beans and asked will it have onions and peppers and was told it was only beans and meat so I was down. Once the food came out the beans had everything I didn’t want in it in it. So I swapped it out for more bread. I thought it was awkward that dining in I have to order my food and pay for it before I can dine in and if I choose to take the menu to the table and decide, I would have to get back up to order at the front and go back to my table. Overall I would recommend.

Came in because I heard about this location from a friend. Got the fish sandwich & baked beans, and grabbed a meal for later which was the two meat combo plate of pulled chicken & pork shoulder, with mac & cheese and collards. The cornbread was good and sweet. Everything was good. The chicken & pork shoulder were so tender. It was great. Portion was more filling than I expected. The bbq place is Carolina-style, so the bbq sauce is the vinegar based. It was okay for me, but I know it’s not everyone’s speed. Bottom-line, I’ll come back to try more. Plenty parking, and service was great and fast.

Wow! This was my first whole hog experience. I got the plate with collards and baked beans and hush puppies. I couldn’t be more pleased. I judge every new restaurant based on the sides first. Top notch without a doubt. I can’t wait to return.

Brand new BBQ spot conveniently located just south of downtown and off I-20. Spacious, bright, klean and accommodating. Very impressed by the customer service and excited to see what this place kan bekome… Worth the trip!!! ☮
