They serve traditional Mexican food with generous portions. It is a simple, small establishment but it’s clean. They offer complimentary chips and a slice of cake. The food is good. The service today was not. Our waitress took more than ten minutes to take our order. We waited more than 20 minutes for our food while several patrons who arrived after us were served first. Our waitress didn’t bring the chips or salsa until I got up and requested them.Ergo for the lemonades. Service was slow and then rushed. Sadly disappointed today. I must say we won’t be returning anytime soon.

I loved the food, the place was nice and the service was great, we had the fajita tacos and the chilaqueles.

The Huevos Rancheros here are very tasty, for $5.49 you get 2 eggs, refried beans and potatoes (the bacon was $1.25 extra).

Wonderful spot to grab lunch with a wonderful cook, servers, and great eye for detail. If you take a closer look at the signage, you will notice it’s all hand drawn! Take a moment to appreciate the flick of the paintbrush and the experience this artist has using this medium. The inside continues this same expertise with various suggestions for lunch and affordable prices for plates. FYI licuados include milk as it is a shake and not a smoothie. The have a cute Christmas decorations and with all the kid stockings hanging, you can tell it’s a family restaurant. Support local families directly by going to local restaurants. The licuados are HUGE and very worth it.

Place and food are fine considering the area. I just don’t like it when staff assumes everyone likes the music they do. I DETEST regeton. Some of it was even vulgar.

We won’t be returning after today because they overcharged us from the prices shown on menu. My friend ordered the chicken mole priced at $7.99 but asked the waitress if he could have only white meat. Waitress said sure but didn’t tell him it would be extra charge. I asked for a side of refried beans (menu said a side of beans is $0.50. When we received the check my friend’s chicken mole was $10.99 and my side of beans was now $1.00. When I asked the manager why the prices were higher than shown on menu she said that white meat is extra ($3.00 extra!) and the refried beans are $1.00 because the $0.50 beans shown on menu is for whole beans. I think this is very bad business practice! And I feel cheated and lied to. These people are out to scam you. I won’t be coming back and they have lost two customers because they are money hungry and out to nickel and dime their customers. Next time I’ll go to Maria’s where food tastes better anyway.

This is the second time we come try out this restaurant. This restaurant is small in size. There are approximately about eight seating tables only. The decor is simple but the walls are colored with vibrant colors. They have a variety of breakfast & lunch options available. And the lunch specials for $6.99 are available every day, all day long. We opted to order a serving of Chicken Flautas & the Pollo en Mole. Both plates were served with Spanish rice, refried beans, and side salad. The Pollo en Mole came with choice of corn or flour tortillas, both which were homemade. For the beverage we opted for two sweet teas. I will say that both entrees were delicious. The Flautas were crispy and the Mole had a spicy kick to it. And the best part was the service. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and very friendly. I also noticed that even thou it’s a small restaurant they do get busy for lunch. They do have takeout and do deliveries to the surrounding areas.

the food was alright on the exception that my chicken was rotten, it had a funky smell since the beginning I received my plate however I kept eating. At the end I asked my mother to smell it and she was disgusted. She tried telling the owner and the owner didn’t like the fact that my mother was saying this to her. She even asked us to not come back to the restaurant for criticizing it.
