Stopped here after traveling on remote and rough gravel roads all the way from Reliance. Had this place marked for a while to try based on the 4.7 star reviews. It’s a cute little place in the main street through little Ducktown. We had the fried mushrooms and they were most likely frozen as they were quite chewy. Wife had the Adobo chicken bowl. She said it was way too salty for her but tons of chicken. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl with spring rolls and fried rice. The spring rolls were not that great. Would have been nice to have some spicy mustard but I could not find any at their condiments bar. I thought the chicken was good, but very salty as most asian food is. Service was great but price was a little high for asian type food like that. There is nothing else around so that’s probably another reason it is rated so high.

Okay, this place had a lot happening on the menu: loads of deep fried foods, an array of Italian dishes, and a host of sushi bowls. We read the reviews, decided to try dinner while in Ducktown, and we were so happy we did. California Bowls were delicious!!

Spring rolls are made with chicken and are exceptional! Cod and whitefish were lightly battered, excellent flavor and perfectly prepared—the best fried fish we’ve had in north ga and at very good pricing. Shrimp is butterflied and also lightly battered, cooked just right. Seafood bowls with rice are very good. All portions are ample, good pricing and preparation and service are outstanding!

This place was a real hidden gem. There aren’t many options to eat in this tiny town, but this place was recommended by our AirBnB host. Walking into the door, this place didn’t seem like it had the food that the reviews touted. Some spring rolls, a seared tuna bowl, and a ravioli later, we decided that this little weird eclectic eatery was everything it had been promised to be. If I ever find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

You now have a reason to go to Ducktown. You pick your meat or meats and a side or two. The meats have Asian infused flavors, but not too strong. Large portions. Friendly family running the place. Bottle beer is available and now sushi bowls are available. Ice cream too!

We’ve been wanting to try this little gem of a restaurant & tonight was the night! We were met outside of the restaurant by a lady who told us of the specials. When we told her we HAD to try the rolls, she told us there were two kinds tonight & because it was our first visit, we were given complimentary spring rolls. They were both terrific! We had pasta dishes. The mushroom ravioli was outstanding & better than I’ve had in Italian restaurants! My husband had a shrimp pasta dish that he loved! We will be back! If you find yourself in this area, make sure you visit Rod’s Rockin Rolls. You won’t be disappointed!
