If I could rate 0 I could. I ordered the egussi soup with fufu. Specifically told them only put one piece of chicken in it. When I arrive, there was 3-4 pieces of chicken and barely no soup. I really paid $15 for chicken and fufu. Guy at the front was trying to argue with me. Y’all look at this picture and tell me if I’m being petty or not. Never coming back

I can’t speak on the food as I wasn’t able to try it. I went recently with a friend and it was closed. We could see someone inside, but they didn’t open the door or answer the phone. We came during business hours. My dad enjoyed coming here years ago and I wanted to see it for myself.

Food is delicious. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars is their cassava leaf was blended and looked more like a soup and was poured over my jollof rice. Returned that and got jollof rice with the grilled chicken.

EVERYTIME I’ve came here the food was spectacular!!! Today I tried something new which was the fried croaker & Jollof rice with peppers. I also tried the groundnut stew with beef & plantain fufu as you see I had to eat some before I pulled off lol so good!! Okay so we came to D.C from Philly and the African restaurants wasn’t giving us that home cooked meal so we found this restaurant from google . I looked at the menu and instantly knew this restaurant wasn’t going to disappoint me . The food was delicious! I ordered food to take back home to Philly . This was some of the worst food I’ve ever had. I ordered through uber eats and the restaurant lied to my delivery person and told them that they called me about substituting parts of my order with other items. They never called me. On top of that after opening up my order I realized I was missing items on top of the order not being correct. I called the restaurant regarding these issues and they insisted that I was lying and continued to argue with me. I tried eating what I was provided with but it was terrible. The beef tasted like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for a long time. And the Egussi wasn’t fresh.
