Have been coming to Rodgers bbq when we visit family for over 15 years, but haven’t been back since Covid. Stopped by excited for dinner. Ordered the shredded bbq pork dinner plate. Service was with a smile but the food was little to come back for. Brunswick stew tasted like ketchup, shredded pork meat a bit on the old side with no flavor and no sauce offered or in eye sight. Fries and coleslaw were good. Love the smiles and friendly ness of the servers though. Seems like a great family dinner spot, but my family won’t be coming back for a while.

Soda was watered down, okra was over cooked, turnip greens where caned, and the bbq was just nasty. I watched the waitress pick up silver ware from a dirty table and hand it straight to one of my kids. Horrible never going back

Ordered a well done cheeseburger. This is what I received. I get that sometimes it gets busy but this burger almost walked off the plate. This was unacceptable and they should make sure they serve their food cooked!!!! Won’t be back

Traveling through and stopped to eat at about 7:45 P.M. Wait time was a bit lengthy and the restaurant had very few patrons. Orders were wrong, food was cold, ask for fresh coffee which we got on the second cup because first one was old coffee and I was really surprised that the owner did not come over and speak to us after so many issues with our meal. No discount, no apology, nothing. Did get a thanks for coming after we paid. The only good thing I can say is that the two appetizers were hot and taste good but after a long wait they did come out 1 minute before the food.

The food was not good, not a drop of seasoning on anything, super bland. The staff was amazing though. Super friendly people in a super laid back setting. It’s exactly what you would expect out of a BBQ restaurant minus the taste.
