Atmosphere was a little dark, typical tavern pub. A couple of locals sitting at the bar. I got the 1/2 BBQ Chicken with a loaded baked potato. It was good, I’m not sure about $29.00 good though. My wife got the American Burger with fries. It was ok at best, definitely not worth $17.00. Appetizer: We got the breaded mushrooms, $14.00 was a bit steep but they were definitely good. Service was excellent, my drink never got below half before my waiter promptly refilled it and left the carafe of ice tea for me. If your into local bar and pub scene, give it a try . My total was about $87.00 with a tip, just for dinner, coffee and ice tea.

Karaoke night! Our recent visit to Rojo’s Tavern in Lake Tahoe left us with a truly memorable dining experience. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a lively atmosphere.

Cool little place, we went for dinner. Had some seafood fettuccine and a sandwich with a Guinness and a vodka tonic. Quick service. Ball games were on several TV sets. They were having karaoke later in the night. We didn’t stick around. The place has one of the only basements in Tahoe, due to its advanced age. Also has an upstairs. Open till 2 am. Check it out.

Came in after a long day driving around the lake. Karoke was about to start, so they had to move us to a different table in the back. It kind of seemed like they weren’t sure who was supposed to wait on us. But the food was really good and reasonably priced. They have a downstairs with live music at night on the weekends, too!

All righty. We came her because my 9 year old wanted a burger. We succeeded. Their Great American burger was given 5 stars by my kids which they are hard to please. The French onion soup was fantastic and I would come just for that. The fried pickles were about county fair standard and we liked them a lot. The fried mozzarella was ok….like Dennys level. I love the decor and history. Service was pretty good. Overall I would absolutely come again for a cold beer, some fried pickles and a bowl or two of French Onion Soup( be careful, bowls dang hot) and a burger for my picky frikin kids.

I’m pretty sure I got sick off something I ate here. The taste was off on my ranch dressing, and someone else from my party had the Ceasars salad. I tasted it, and it was horrible. The clam chowder was super runny, and I’m pretty sure there was a piece of plastic that I pulled out of my mouth.

We had made reservations for 8 and was greeted at the door and taken to our seats. The waiter was welcoming. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered our drinks and we each placed our orders. Their shrimp appetizer was delicious. My steak of perfect. Everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. My 4 year old loved the clam chower which he did not share. The price was reasonable. I definitely would go back here.
