Pizza night could be any night in our house, and several nights a week at that. Well, today is pizza night at Roland’s and it’s time we try a pie. We went with just a pepperoni pizza and garlic knots for our first time. I arrived 10 minutes early for my pickup order. The parking lot was packed! Business was booming, and they were running orders out to cars left and right. Now I’ve only had the pleasure of having Roland’s once before they closed their doors. This is the first time since they have opened for takeout that we have ordered. So I really didn’t know what to expect. Efficient and safe pickup…. ✔️

Fettuccine alfredo was bland and gritty. I think the sauce was “broken”. It was not good. The portions are crazy large and you have to BUY bread if you want it with your meal. Beverages are whatever they have by can or bottle. Inside feels old and rundown.

You will not go away hungry from here. The sauce is homemade and you get plenty. Warning the Roland’s sauce is a bit spicy….but otherwise it is very good. It was new restaurant #7 for us for the year and we have been there twice

Mongo’s Garage
Roland’s reminds me of a small family owned restaurant that I used to go to years back. The food was above average as was the service. I had heard great things about the food from family but wasn’t entirely impressed. Italian food for me has to be just right, this was good but lacked the flair of a true Italian eatery, do not misunderstand this review, I did enjoy the meal was just expecting maybe just a bit more. We will return to try more of their menu.

First timer and had a wonderful experience. Delicious food. I had Rolland’s Sauce, it has a little heat to it, but you can’t stop eating it. Mrs. had Alfredo that was so creamy and tasty. Best to get a reservation, although we were lucky dropping in without one. Def go back!
