Roller Mills Smokehouse (RMS) is a food truck located just 1/2 mile from Clemson University! We are a husband and wife small business, both of which graduated from Clemson University! Wil smokes all of the meats and makes every sauce homemade from scratch, while Allye makes every side, dessert, and cornbread homemade from scratch! RMS believes in real, homemade food. We NEVER use MSG, added preservatives, or pre-made/pre-packaged foods.

Wow, these folks saw bbq as a challenge and said YES. I swung by today on my way home just to see why I saw so many people getting grubs from this truck in the middle of the blazing hot summer and now I certainly understand. I got the rib plate with a side of Mac and corn chowder, and let me just say this bbq was an experience. Truly divine. Perfectly smoky, sweet and savory. The ribs tender with the perfect bite and that delicious bark smoked to perfection. The cornbread was so uniquely delicious. I can’t even describe it. It’s like it lived with sweet potato crunch for a few years and learned how to speak its sweet potato language while still tossing its corn roots vernacular on the side. My dog was so jealous, he stuck his big hound nose in the trash and ran away with the saucy napkin. I gave him a bite, of course. Definitely will hit this place up again as many times as my waistline will allow for. Stretchy pants do exist tho….

This food is DELICIOUS. The meat is fall-apart tender, the sides are awesome. The apple pie pit beans are absolutely amazing. We’ll be back soon! My husband picked up the food and he said the owner was super friendly and service was fast.

I have now experienced why this place has 5 stars. The owner remembered us and was super helpful and friendly. The ribs were delicious. They fell off the bone & the meat was plentiful. They didn’t even need sauce but the sweet sauce made them even tastier. Can’t wait for the restaurant to open. Highly recommend and we will be back.

Just stopped here for lunch after seeing it a few times on the corner of Old Greenville Hwy. The owner was an extremely nice guy. The BBQ sandwich was amazing with the natty gold sauce. Pimento cheese mac and cheese on the side was also amazing. Great small business that will repeatedly earn my business. Check them out.

We tried this for the first time this evening (July 4th). The customer service was great! We reheated it (after asking recommendations from the owner) and we inhaled the amazing food! I am not kidding we could not stop talking about every bite. My husband LITERALLY was drinking the sauces. We’re definitely going back asap…. tomorrow maybe? Everything was unbelievable and I cannot wait for their restaurant to open!!!! Ten million stars!
