My husband has brought home a sushirito for me before & I loved it. So we decided to have an early lunch today & headed over to Rollin’ Fresh. It’s so nice to be within walking distances there. We both ordered vegan poke’ bowls & they did not disappoint. It was so light & refreshing, not to mention very filling. The staff is super friendly & helpful. The outside seating is great & plenty of space for everyone.

May 10, 2023 We got sushi rolls the size of medium burritos: about 10″. Mine was lightly breaded and fried. Both were tasty. Cute cartoon under the menu.

Friends, this was a big miss for me. First of all, the sushi burrito had a slim piece of fish — I got the northern lights and the only Aurora I found was a gaslight.

I’m not big on food carts but I gave it a try and I was presently surprised. I had Rose City poke and it was good. The tempura was really fresh and yummy. Especially cream cheese tempura was super good. I would like to try other dishes in the coming days.

I was shorted on food. Ordered the city of roses ( always had a great experience) today was not so much. Although it was a little busy, I still didn’t think that warranted a smaller portion of food. Left out of the shrimp tempura as well. Hopefully there’s a lesson learned and they can be properly trained to give the right amount of food.

The staff are a hit or miss. Frequented this cart a few times during my stay in Nob Hill for the month of February. Some days the staff were unpleasant and on other occassions they were friendly and amicable. Service should be consistent at all times. Perhaps basic customer service training can be given to all and staff could be wearing visible nametags. The salmon tail rice with purple cabbage is probably my favourite dish on the menu- very affordable and generous servings of cabbage and fish and it fills you up fast. This is definitely a budget/economy friendly meal which isn’t bland.
